South London born; Sam is a young Writer and Director noted for his
"Kitchen-Sink-Hollywood" style (gritty and realistic, blitzed with a
polished cinematic edge) and non-linear story telling. Becoming a
runner straight after graduating University, he began shooting &
directing scenes for aspiring actors showreel's, which lead to him
Writing, Producing and Directing his debut short film "Suspect 13".
The film sat hidden for many months until it was submitted to the festival circuit where it was screened at "The East End Film Festival 2012" and earned "Official Selection at The UK Film Festival 2012".
Sam continued making shorts, having his film "Hunted" screened at the "Raindance Film Festival 2012" as a finalist in "Collabor8te & Raindance's 48 Hour Film Challenge". Plus his film "Eyes Wide Open" featured as 'Top Pick' in "The Virgin Media Shorts Competition 2012".
Sam has been involved with groups such as The British Film Institute (BFI), where he has taken part in film making events and had his directorial/written work screened at their renowned cinema in London's Southbank. Plus The National Youth Film Academy, where his film "Monday" screened at The Stratford Picture House Cinema.
With another upcoming film "Echo" being shot early 2013, Sam is focused on developing feature films through his company "Shootme Films Ltd".
