- Generally known as "One of the nice guys", Andrew prefers to travel to LA once a year for two weeks to set up business and spends most of his time close to his 3 children in the UK. His record for meetings in a two week period is 30... whilst using public transport in LA.
- Works with director Jay Oliva (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns/Trese) since a chance photograph was taken at Warner Animation. Andrew was meeting director Mike Disa and had a photograph taken outside the building that Jay Oliva noticed as the building he worked in.
- Was midway through a Masters Degree in England when invited to Pinewood Studios in November 2012 on the strength of his first feature script RhumbleRama. In February 2013 he was invited to Los Angeles by Ramon Estevez and Charlie Sheen regarding the same project.
- Wrote the script for Deeper Than 6ft whilst on a two week break from writing Indomitable Joe (for Jay Oliva). Two months later Deeper Than 6ft started to gain major interest in Los Angeles on the strength of the first draft.
- Is an LA Kings fan. Was present for the Jan 26 2013 Kings vs. Phoenix Coyotes game at the Staples Center. A night he was introduced as a guest and "fell in love" with the game.
- Influenced by Michael Mann, John Sayles, Sidney Lumet, John Dahl and James Foley. States the films that changed his life direction were Heat, Blade Runner, Koyaanisqatsi and The Hired Hand.
- Once worked for the UK television reality series The X Factor as a production runner. He still has the T-Shirt from the run.
- Credits Ramon Estevez, Brett W. Nemeroff and Jay Oliva for his break in career.
