It's hard to believe that a show that ended almost four years ago is delivering this much buzz.
But it shows that some of the most binge-able shows can get a renaissance years after they've ended.
Suits amassed another 3.7 billion minutes viewed across Netflix and Peacock.
A split for the streaming platforms has not been revealed, but the first eight seasons of Suits became available on June 17 on Netflix.
Make of that what you will. Peacock hasn't revealed if having exclusivity over Suits Season 9 has paved the way for a rise in sign-ups.
Suits is killing it for an acquired title, coming in well ahead of streaming original The Lincoln Lawyer (1.28 billion minutes viewed).
The news certainly bodes well for a revival, movie, or reboot, but it's hard to determine whether any of the cast would be interested.
Meghan Markle, who was missing from the last two seasons, probably wouldn't...

XYZ Films has picked up the U.S. distribution rights to director Steven Lamorte’s horror film The Mean One, a “violent slasher parody” that draws clear inspiration from the Dr. Seuss classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas! David Howard Thornton, who plays Art the Clown in the Terrifier movies (see today’s exclusive clip from Terrifier 2 Here), takes on the role of the Grinch-like title character in The Mean One,
a hairy, green-skinned grump in a Santa suit, living on a mountain high above the festive small town of Frazier Park, despising the holiday season. Young Cindy You-Know-Who, whose parents were butchered by The Mean One twenty Christmases earlier, is returning to town to seek closure.

Last week, Isiah Medina made Inventing The Future, the follow-up to his debut feature 88:88, available to stream through his personal website, free of charge. It’s a towering film: a radical piece of intellectual montage, a utopian political tract, and an exploration of the ontology of digital image-making. Using the book of the same name by Nick Srnicek and Alex Williams as its basis, Inventing The Future outlines a vision of a “post-capitalist” society in which most labor is automated, a universal basic income is established, industry is nationalized and the economy is decarbonized. These societal transformations, Medina argues, will reduce tedious labor, eliminate financial pressures, and provide citizens with an increased amount of free time which may be devoted to leisure activities, pursuing creative endeavors, and engaging in other rewarding ventures. Before delving into these ideas for the future of Leftist politics, Medina reflects on the failures of the past.

The second installment contains not one but two extended car chases with trucks emptying obstacles onto our heroes, and an entire slum being obliterated by a Hummer with little regard for human life–all across a gratuitous two and a half hours. It’s been a little over a week since it was announced that supermanager Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings would be buying Big Machine Label Group — and Taylor Swift’s masters — thus launching a war of words between Big Machine president Scott Borchetta and the superstar artist that made his label. But Music Row and country music in general are wondering about something more than just who is winning the PR battle: and that’s what the presence of Braun will mean to Nashville and the future of Big Machine itself.

Suits will be bringing back an original series regular before the legal drama comes to a close.
According to Deadline, Patrick J. Adams will reprise the role of Mike Ross on Suits Season 9 Episode 5.
His return will put him up against his best friend, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Samantha Wheeler.
“He doesn’t exactly know that Samantha is going to be involved when he comes back, but he does know Harvey is going to be,” Aaron Korsh told the website.
On top of that, there will be “some fun scenes and some emotional scenes with Mike and the old gang. He will interact with more than Harvey and Samantha.”

Patrick J. Adams will return to USA’s “Suits” for its ninth and final season, USA Network told TheWrap.
He is set to reprise his role as Mike Ross, the on-screen husband of Rachel Zane, who was played by the now-Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle. Per the cable channel, Adams will come back mid-season to get involved in a case that puts him toe to toe with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl).
Ross — and thus, Adams — left the series at the end of Season 7 to move to Seattle with Rachel. When TheWrap asked USA if Markle will return, the net referred us to series creator Aaron Korsch’s pretty consistent remarks about that popular question. Basically, she’s always welcome back — but don’t hold your breath.

Original Suits star Patrick J. Adams will return for the series’ upcoming 10-episode final season. He will reprise his character of Mike Ross in Episode 5 of the USA Network series as he gets involved in a case that puts him toe to toe with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl). While that is Adams’ only confirmed involvement so far, I hear he also is expected to make an appearance in Suits‘ series finale.

(L-to-r): Julian Assange's mother Christine (portrayed in the film by Rachel Griffiths), lead actor Alex Williams, and director Robert Connolly.
The theatrical event screening of Underground: The Julian Assange Story, which originally screened on the Ten Network last year, sold out Melbourne's Cinema Nova on Sunday night and grossed approximately $3000.
It is a promising start for Robert Connolly's CinemaPlus distribution venture, which plans to broaden traditional theatrical screenings into live events, including director and cast Q&A sessions, live musical performances, and political action forums.
Underground, the story of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, filled the approximate 250-seat Cinema Nova opening screening, which was followed by a Q&A session with director Robert Connolly, Christine Assange (Julian Assange.s mother), and actor Alex Williams. The audience also received a special CD-rom which contained the screenplay, soundtrack, and a book, as well as a Qr Code which could be scanned,...

Network Ten will screen the highly-anticipated movie event Underground – The Julian Assange Story on Sunday, October 7th, 2012 at 8.30pm.
The TV movie directed by Robert Connolly focuses on Assange’s early life as a teenage computer hacker in Melbourne.
Right from screening at the Toronto International Film Festival where Variety called it “one of the small screen events of the year”, Underground stars Perth Newcomer and Australian freshly graduated actor, Alex Williams as Assange. Golden Globe winners Rachel Griffiths and Anthony Lapaglia star as his mother Christine Assange and Detective Ken Roberts respectively.
Immediately before Underground, award-winning Ten news reporter Hamish Macdonald will present a special on Julian Assange, examining the man behind the WikiLeaks phenomenon and what the future holds for one of the (former?) world’s most wanted men.
I risk hate comments, but I sincerely hope that there will be some kind of public apology following afterwards...

Part of understanding Julian Assange is knowing that he's spent nearly his entire life on the run. While he's currently holed up in Ecuador's embassy in the U.K., this latest roadblock for the hacker/activist is just another bump in a lifetime that has seen him constantly on the move. What many folks don't know is that when Assange was eight years old, his mother married a man who belonged to Australia's white supremacist group/cult The Family, who "recruited" (read: kidnapped) children with Aryan features to bring them into the fold. Leaving the organization in 1990, Assange, his mother and brother changed their addresses and kept an eye over their shoulder as The Family was never too far behind, and that's where Robert Connolly's solidly built "Underground" begins. Played by Alex Williams (who bears a pretty striking resemblance), the teenaged Assange is obsessed with hacking, but is also interested in something other boys.
