Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a few matches in here, like cookies in cereal box. It’s a cute joke. Okay, let’s dive right into this episode of Mlw: Fusion.
Match #1: Mance Warner defeated Ricky Martinez The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Salina started off this bout off by announcing her Sicario for his match-up against Mance. Martinez has had a lot to prove to Salina since he’s been in hot water after suffering some losses so he was sure to take advantage when the Bruiser from Bucksnort entered the ring. Martinez seized the opportunity to crotch Warner on the middle rope. Martinez continued his assault, but Mance showed his gusto by wanting more from his opponent. Martinez attempted to deliver on such, but all that was put to a...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have more wrestling action from Mlw, so let’s get right to it.
Match #1: Lucha Bros. defeated Air Wolf & Rey Horus The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Two of the brightest young stars in Mlw went toe-to-toe with one of the best tag teams in the world as Air Wolf and Horus faced off with Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix. Horus and Air Wolf had their moments, but in the end, it was the experience, both overall and as a team, that led to victory for the Lucha Bros. Oh, and a double-stomp-aided Penta driver.
My Opinion: 3 out of 5 – This was filled with all sorts of reckless leaps from any and all directions. Imagine seeing a bunch of rockets explode during their launch. I didn’t have any-hing to go with the last sentence.

Match #1: Brian Pillman Jr. defeated Mjf The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
The odds were not in Brian Pillman Jr.’s favor at the outset. Maxwell J. Friedman was accompanied to the ring by his Dynasty mates Richard Holliday and Alexander Hammerstone. And early on, the Dynasty duo on the outside had an impact, interfering at every opportunity. Eventually, the official caught them in the act and sent them to the back, evening the odds. But Mjf put the odds in his favor once again, working over Pillman’s previously-injured shoulder. Perhaps Mjf got a little cocky after being in charge for much of the match. Or maybe he simply made a mistake. But Pillman surprised Friedman with small...

Welcome to this review of Impact Wrestling’s United We Stand, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and it’s time to see if this was any good.
Match #1: Impact World Champion Johnny Impact def. Jake Crist, Dante, Pat Buck & Ace Austin – #1 Contenders Match for the X-Division Championship
My Opinion: 3 out of 5 – This turned out just fine, but I wish that it…you know what I’m going to say…lasted longer. The spots looked excellent and the pace was swift, so it all moved along quite well.
Match #2: Team Lucha Underground def. Team Impact
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 – The action was a bit lame, but at least some very talented wrestlers got another shot at showing what they can do. In some ways, this might be the final time we see Lucha Underground in any facet, so there’s that, at least.
Match #3: Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie def.

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Teddy Hart in the main event, which ought to be quite interesting, given his talent and his skills. Myron Reed is gonna be there too, so we’ll get to see him fly around that ring like Elijah Wood at a jewelry store. Okay, start reading. I got Allman Brother tickets. I gotta get out of here.
Match #1: Daga defeated Ariel Dominguez The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
After suffering serious injuries to his ear at the hands of then-World Champion Low Ki a few months ago, Daga returned to action this week. Lo and behold, who joined Jim Cornette and Rich Bocchini ringside on commentary? None other than The Professional Low Ki. Dominguez was his usual scrappy self. The highly-decorated amateur was game against Daga and scored...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have lots to cover from this live episode of Fusion that is called Super-Fight. Low Ki defends the Major League Wrestling World Title against Tom Lawlor in the main event, so let’s get to it.
Match #1: Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart and Davey Boy Smith Jr) With Brian Pillman Jr. (New Champions) beat Lucha Bros! (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) – Major League Wrestling World Tag Team Championship Match
My Take: 2.5 out of 5 – This was a bit too slow for its own good, but it was still good while it lasted. It would seem that Pentagon and Fenix really are leaving Major League Wrestling, as Court Bauer had gone to Twitter and wished them well where-ever they go. Since Pentagon and Fenix are likely headed to All Elite Wrestling, it was necessary...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a violent main event to get to, so let’s get there before Christmas.
Match #1: Kotto Brazil defeated Vandal Ortagun The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
A few weeks ago, Ricky Martinez attacked Kotto Brazil with a bottle at a Miami night club. Tonight, after weeks of recovery, Brazil was back in the ring. He drew the ever-tough Vandal Ortagun for his welcome back to Mlw. Ortagun was game and took advantage of Brazil’s injury. But in the end, Brazil’s running sliced bread finishing maneuver spelled the end for Ortagun.
My Take: 2 out of 5 – There wasn’t much happening here, but Brazil looked just fine for a match made just for him.
Match #2: Barrington Hughes vs. Ace Romero The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have some good wrestling, so let’s get to it.
Match #1: Rush defeated Shane Strickland The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
The former golden boy of Mlw opened the show in the ring with a microphone, berating the Miami crowd and running down the Mlw locker room. Rush didn’t want to hear it, came to the ring, told Swerve off and we had our opening bout. Strickland attacked at the bell and had the upper hand early on. But the tide turned when the action went to the outside, where Rush threw “Swerve” through a set of locked double doors and blasted him with a trash can. While Strickland attempted to make a couple comebacks, in the end it was a Rush Driver that spelled the end for “Swerve.

Match #1: La Park defeated Gringo Loco The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
In an extremely entertaining and hotly-contested match, Gringo Loco gave La Park all he wanted. The two battled for nearly 20 minutes to open this week’s show. La Park had the upper hand early and of course, there were chairs involved. With Gringo Loco incapacitated on the outside, La Park grabbed a couple chairs from ringside and put them together. He then scored a massive powerbomb, driving Loco onto the unforgiving chairs. Gringo Loco eventually recuperated and rallied. At one point, Loco was able to lay out La Park on the stage/entrance way.

Match #1: Ace Romero defeated Simon Gotch – $20,000 Simon Gotch Prize Fight Challenge The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
Gotch has been ranting for a week after losing to “Filthy” Tom Lawlor on last week’s episode. He swore he would make a statement this week. He offered an opportunity at a Simon Gotch Prize Fight Challenge to anyone in the back. All they had to do was last 5 minutes with Gotch and they’d win the cash. Gotch was not happy to see Ace Romero take him up on it. Not only did Romero survive 5 minutes without losing, he pinned Gotch outright and celebrated, tossing part of the $20,000 prize out to the Mlw crowd in attendance.

Match #1: Kotto Brazil defeated Trey Miguel The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
World Middleweight Champion Maxwell J. Friedman joined commentary, as Kotto Brazil and Trey Miguel squared off. Mjf admitted he was there to scout the competition, as Brazil will be part of the 4-way ladder match at Mlw Zero Hour for the World Middleweight title. In an incredible display of athleticism, both Brazil and Miguel laid it all out there looking to move up the middleweight rankings. At one point late in the match, Miguel hit a meteora and scored a two-count. He followed that up with an innovative springboard cutter off the bottom rope as Brazil was on his knees following the meteora,...

Match #1: Ricky Martinez defeated Dr. Rex Bacchus The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
Promociones Dorado’s Ricky Martinez started the show off with a rather easy victory over Dr. Rex Bacchus. Martinez finished Bacchus off with a nasty suplex that showed off his strength, followed by a modified piledriver, which also required a great deal of power. One has to believe Martinez could be a contender in the Middleweight division if he wanted to be. Right now, he seems to be more content to beat people...

Puma King bloodied Martinez early, but Martinez got plenty of offense in on his feline foe, as well.cIn the end, it was a huge avalanche powerbomb followed by a unique rollup cradle that led to the three-count for Puma King, who was joined by Konnan in the ring for a post-match celebration. Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a big tag team title main event to cover, so let’s do so.
Match #1: Fred Yehi/Simon Gotch (Team Filthy) defeated the Dirty Blondes (Stud Stable) The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
Team Filthy got a little bit of retribution on this week’s episode, defeating the Dirty Blondes. Yehi and Gotch had the upper hand early on, but the Dirty Blondes had a numbers advantage with Col. Parker and Parrow on the outside and eventually utilized solid tag team and double-team maneuvers to gain the advantage. But Lawlor, who seconded his team to the ring, turned the tables on the Stud Stable.
As Michael Patrick attempted to bounce off the ropes for momentum for an offensive maneuver on Gotch, Lawlor smacked him with a steel chair.

Match #1: Kalisto def. Tony Nese The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
After their last meeting ended in a brawl that involved Buddy Murphy and the other members of The Lucha House Party, Kalisto and Tony Nese decided to battle without their allies at ringside. Riding high following a tag team victory last week, Kalisto was certainly poised to keep that focus and silence The Premier Athlete once and for all. Locking up, Nese immediately used his power advantage by tossing Kalisto to the mat with ease and shoving away an offensive flurry. Despite using his speed to try and outwit The Premier Athlete, Kalisto was unable to counter the sheer strength of his opponent.
