Matt Damon is once again stirring the pot when it comes to sharing his opinions on sexual harassment and abuse in Hollywood. “I do believe that there’s a spectrum of behavior,” Damon says. “And we’re going to have to figure — you know, there’s a difference between, you know, patting someone on the butt and rape or child molestation, right? Heads up: This recap covers the events of Tuesday’s American Horror Story: Cult. If you haven’t watched and/or don’t want to be spoiled, make like Kai’s parents and disappear for a bit.
I have to admit that I was a little taken aback by this week’s Cult. In (most) previous seasons, Ahs has slumped towards the finish line, eventually slowing to a lifeless crawl — but Cult has been gaining momentum in its final weeks, and Tuesday’s episode was no exception.

Confession: There are times when I've been loyally in Luc Besson's corner – the visual splendor of Subway (1985), The Big Blue (1988) and La Femme Nikita (1990) established him as a master of what the French call Cinéma du Look. And 1994's The Professional – with Jean Reno teaching the assassin's game to a very young Natalie Portman – went deeper, blending style with a nurturing sense of humanity. Plus, there's a lot to be said in favor of both his sci-fi extravaganza The Fifth Element (1997) and last year's next-level ScarJo-evolution whatsit Lucy.

Every week, IndieWire asks a select handful of film and TV critics two questions and publishes the results on Monday. (The answer to the second, “What is the best film in theaters right now?”, can be found at the end of this post.)
This week’s question: In a recent article, box office analyst Tom Brueggemann writes that Rotten Tomatoes has ruined film criticism. Now it’s your turn to weigh in: How do you feel about Rotten Tomatoes and other aggregation sites? Do they hurt or help the state of modern film criticism?
Alissa Wilkinson (@alissamarie), Vox
Yes, aggregation sites can be frustrating, because they keep people from actually reading criticism and understanding the nuances of a critique; not all of my opinions on movies can be reduced to fresh or rotten, and even if the ones that clearly fit one category or the other really need five minutes of reading to understand why.

Former President George H.W. Bush sent his first lady a sweet birthday wish on Twitter as she rang in her 92nd birthday.
“Happiest of birthdays to Barbara Pierce of Rye, NY,” the 92-year-old former president wrote on Thursday. “I’m still the luckiest guy in the world.”
A family spokeswoman tells People that former First Lady Barbara Bush is celebrating the occasion by spending a “quiet day” at the family’s summer home, Walker’s Point, in Kennebunkport, Maine.
The spokeswoman added that Mrs. Bush will cap off the day with “a quiet birthday dinner with some family and friends.

Just in case it wasn’t obvious why Jenna Bush Hager and her adorable family made the 2017 People’s World’s Most Beautiful issue, the Today show correspondent has authored a new piece to further drive home the point.

Hilary Duff might need a little alone time.
The Younger star posted a hilarious photo on Instagram Tuesday of her newest puppy, Momo, accompanying her to the bathroom and sitting inside her pants as she peed.
“Can’t even pee without this stalker finding me,” she wrote in the caption.
At first difficult to spot because his black coat blends in with Duff’s black pants, it’s easy to forgive Momo. The cute pup was adopted by Duff, 29, in early May.

While speaking at the Partnership for a Healthier America Summit on Thursday morning, former President Bill Clinton revealed that he has not one, but two ant farms.

“Pigs deserve happy dreams, just like the rest of us.” That’s the message imparted by Lucy Mirando, aka Tilda Swinton, in a new viral video for Bong Joon-ho’s Okja. The highly-anticipated new film from the Snowpiercer director will drop on Netflix in June, featuring a cast that includes, in addition to Swinton, Ahn Seo-hyun, Jake Gyllenhaal, Giancarlo Esposito, Paul Dano, Steven Yeun, Lily Collins, Devon Bostick, Byun Hee-bong, and Shirley Henderson. Ahn Seo-hyun plays Mija, a young girl from South Korea who has devoted her life to caring for a giant animal named Okja. Unfortunately, the multi-national Mirando Corporation, lead by Swinton’s Lucy Mirando, wants to sweep in and steal Okja for their own nefarious purposes.
In this delightfully bizarre, falsely chipper viral ad, Swinton’s pink-haired Lucy Mirando describes with wide-eyed glee the various products and activities her company is engaged in, from organic harvesting and...

Adultery, small-town secrets, murder, penis injuries, sex, lies and Elvis impersonations – if you were looking for a modern version of Peyton Place jacked up on steroids and white wine spritzers, Big Little Lies was your go-to Sunday night viewing. But the limited, seven-episode run of HBO's glossy, seaside soap opera didn't become one of the most talked about TV events of the year just by gathering together an Avengers-like movie-star ensemble cast (Kidman! Woodley! Witherspoon! A-listers Assemble!) and giving them license to behave badly. Rather, this adaptation of Liane Moriarty...

To be certain, KotOR’s morality system is best viewed through rose-tinted glasses. Its simplified take on good versus evil (as represented by the light side and dark side) doesn’t exactly force you to do much soul searching. If you’d like to follow the path of the Jedi, you save puppies instead of electrocuting them with Force Lightning.

Back in 2014 first-time director Joe Begos exploded on the horror scene with Almost Human, an alien abduction movie drenched in 80s flair. Now he’s back with his second feature, Supernatural Forces aka The Mind’s Eye, another film that’s not afraid to wear its love of 80s horror on its sleeve. In this case referencing the work of David Cronenberg and Brian De Palma, and films like the Scanners franchise, Carrie and the classic telekinetic fear flick The Fury.
Confession time: I’m not the biggest fan of David Cronenberg’s Scanners. If not for exploding head scene and the final battle between Revok and Vale, the film would be a very dull futuristic thriller.
