There’s a new murder to solve in Only Murders in the Building season three — and Selena Gomez’s Mabel, Steve Martin‘s Charles and Martin Short’s Oliver are on the case.
In the final moments of season two, the gang reunited one year after they went their separate ways. Charles goes back to starring in a reboot of the series that made him a star, Brazzos; Mabel continues renovating her apartment with Alice (Cara Delevingne); and Oliver gets offered a director role in a Broadway play.
Charles stars in Oliver’s play alongside none other than Paul Rudd as series newcomer Ben Glenroy. Right before the curtain rises, Ben and Charles are seen bickering and Charles utters, “I know what you did.” As soon as Ben steps onto the stage and recites his first line, he collapses and dies.

After being a featured player on “Shameless” for over a decade, Jeremy Allen White is now the lead on his very first TV show … and he won a Golden Globe for his efforts. White prevailed during Tuesday’s ceremony for his role of Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto on FX on Hulu’s freshman dramedy series “The Bear.” He beat out co-nominees Donald Glover (“Atlanta”), Bill Hader (“Barry”), Steve Martin (“Only Murders in the Building”) and Martin Short (“Only Murders in the Building”). See the complete winners list.
“I love acting!” White proclaimed at the podium after thanking his fellow “The Bear” cast members and those who helped him get to where he is. At Gold Derby, White was the overwhelming favorite to claim the trophy for Best Comedy Actor, with 13 out of 15 Globe Experts predicting him to win. That translated in leading 16/5 racetrack odds.

This article contains spoilers through Only Murders in the Building season 2 episode 7.
We have only three episodes left in this season of Only Murders in the Building, and it feels like there are more suspects than ever before in the case of Bunny Folger. This show loves to throw a new twist at the audience every episode, which makes it hard to become couch-sleuths and solve the mystery before Oliver, Charles, and Mabel do.
But that’s exactly what we’re going to do. With such a large cast of characters and the motives of each of them still to be determined, we’re going to throw five suspects out into the open and see if they stick.
Lucy
The end of the seventh episode revealed that Charles’s ex-wife’s daughter, Lucy, is a person of interest according to the “glitter man’s” belongings that Mabel obtained with Theo Dimas.

How will all the pieces of the puzzle fit together?
There are some intriguing new developments on Only Murders In the Building Season 2 Episode 5, but will they lead to Bunny's murderer?
This episode brings in sequences of genius whimsy but also plies on some unnecessary plot contrivances.
How are we already halfway through the season? It still feels like everything is set up, which is fine at this point, but it does still feel a bit disjointed.
Each episode seems to deal with a different plot and a new selection of characters. Will Lucy return? Is Jan back for good? What about Amy Schumer?
Though fatherhood has always been a running theme on the show (see my review of Only Murders In The Building Season 1 Episode 9), adding a paternity plotline seems like overkill (pun intended).
Showmanship and desperation must be the twin helixes of our DNA.
