Whomst among us hasn’t forgone a morning quickie to make it to work on time? On Thursday morning, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) told attendees at Sen. Tim Scott’s (R-s.C.) prayer breakfast about her own dilemma.
“When I woke up this morning at seven,” Mace explained, “Patrick, my fiancé, tried to pull me by my waist over this morning in bed and I was like ‘no baby we don’t got time for that this morning, I’ve gotta get to the prayer breakfast.’”
“He can wait,...

Fans have taken to social media to express their shock after Madonna looked “unrecognizable” while introducing Sam Smith and Kim Petras ahead of their Unholy performance at the 2023 Grammys on Sunday.

The 64-year-old Like a Virgin singer took to the stage to “give thanks to all the rebels out there.” What stood out most during her speech, however, was not her strong encouraging words, but rather her altered appearance.
“You guys need to know all you troublemakers out there you need to know that your fearlessness does not go unnoticed,” she continued. “You are seen, you are heard, and most of all, you are appreciated.”

Reactions from showbiz types were swift and fierce.
Phylicia Rashad who played Cosby’s TV wife on The Cosby Show wrote in support of the incarcerated comedian: “Finally!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!”

On August 3rd, 2019, a gunman killed 22 people in an El Paso Walmart with a semiautomatic rifle after posting a manifesto online decrying a “Hispanic invasion.” Hours later, a shooter killed nine people with an Ar-15-style semiautomatic pistol at a bar in Dayton, Ohio. The shootings reignited the gun-control debate in America, as well as criticisms of President Trump’s anti-immigrant rhetoric.

Music-rights organization Sesac plans to co-fund a new foundation designed to support minority film and TV composers, officials announced at last night’s annual Film & Television Composer Awards in Santa Monica.
The Key Change Foundation, created by “Frozen” and “Ant-Man” composer Christophe Beck, “will provide grants to support scores by emerging film composers from underrepresented groups,” said Sesac VP of film and TV Erin Collins.
It’s a long-planned follow-up to Sesac Scores: The Beck Diversity Project, a mentorship program launched last year and designed to “make a meaningful impact on the historically low number of women and people of color hired in the film composer community.”
Over the past year, Sesac Scores held six events, involving more than 350 participants and hosted by industry figures including Beck, composer John Swihart (“How I Met Your Mother”), agent Richard Kraft and others.

A stalled New York City subway carriage serves as a toe-tapping musical Petri dish for six socioeconomically diverse souls in the unique stage-to-screen musical adaptation “Stuck.” Sharing a stylistic template with its 2016 left-coast cousin “La La Land” (which it predated Off-Broadway by a good four years), the film’s 2017 copyright suggests a missed opportunity for momentum that could be made up by the positive word-of-mouth (generated by the film’s fest-circuit delay) for a modest achievement that benefits from a lot of heart and not being like anything else out there.
“I bring a measure of grace to the world,” says Shakespeare-spouting homeless philosopher Lloyd, a dishevelled yet dignified Greek chorus who sets the stage in song: “It’s a common notion that the universe will shove together people who uniquely offer what the other needs.”
With that, the train on which he seems to live grinds to a halt.

It’s been a quiet morning on President Trump’s Twitter account so far. That’s because the Commander-in-Tweet is out celebrating International Women’s Day, albeit a day late.
The White House reports President Trump is engaging this morning in a round of golf with Lexi Thompson, who has more than $8 million in career earnings on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (Lpga) circuit.
Before heading to the links, the President did manage a tweet reporting on The Wall and enforcement actions along the border.
However, the president woke up this afternoon, returning to his traditional voluminous Twitter output, taking on immigration, Ann Coulter, and the ever-popular “witch hunt” campaign against him.
The tweetstorm so far:

A sight for sore eyes! People are going nuts over a new viral video of Bill Clinton watching Ariana Grande perform "Natural Woman" on Aug. 31. Many are calling out the former president for gazing at her like she's a "whole snack" as she sang at Aretha Franklin's funeral. "Bill ready risk it all again lol," one joked, while another hilariously added their two cents: "I shouldn’t have laughed as hard as I did!" A third commenter even took it a bit further, writing: "I want my next boyfriend to look at me like Bill looks at her!" However, some did have his back to the fullest, noting how Hillary Clinton was also in attendance at Detroit's Greater Grace Temple. One fired back: "How can you possibly tell where he is looking?" Gross... Watch Bill Clinton look Ariana Grande up and down when she sings at #ArethaFranklinFuneral and try...

Hillary Clinton invited some less-than-friendly attention on Monday after she decided to open her Twitter direct messages to all users.
While the social media platform’s default settings only allow users who both follow each other to send messages, individual users can choose to open their inbox to receive messages from the general public. It’s a common move for journalists looking for news tips, but can be dicier for major public figures like Clinton.
The former secretary of state learned that on Monday evening and Tuesday as a number of trolls messaged her and said whatever was on their minds.

Didn't think the fab five could get any more entertaining? Throw James Corden in the mix, and you've got the sexalicious six with a whole lot of laughs. The Queer Eye guys stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden to help out the show's guitarist, Tim Young, who is "stuck in a funk." James brought in "some friends to help tackle this mess" in this pretty hilarious mini makeover. But that doesn't mean the fab five didn't work their magic and transform Tim into a better version of himself.
He channeled a James Bond aesthetic with Tan, learned a new snack from Antoni (spoiler: it's not guac), and you probably won't recognize Tim after his makeover from Jonathan. Watch the full video to see "a broken man find the inner rock star that he's always been."

Forget the Fab 5. James Corden is now a member of the "Sexalicious Six." The late-night host recruited the Queer Eye guys to make over his guitarist, Tim Young, on Wednesday's episode of The Late Late Show. Corden described Young as a 47-year-old musician who was in "dire need" of help and "in a funk." Luckily, each member of the Netflix show has his own area of expertise. Tan France, for instance, is the style savant while Jonathan Van Ness is the grooming guru. However, choosing Corden's speciality proved to be difficult. "What if I did, like, science experiments in school? Like build him a volcano?" Corden said. "How would that help him with...
