Tonette Latosha Holmes, born and raised in Saint Louis, MO, attended Florissant Valley Community College after high school, majoring in Theatre / Communication Arts. In her first two years, she completed foundational theater courses and a screenwriting class. She furthered her education in Performing Arts at The Black Repertory Theatre, learning from Linda Kennedy (2007) and Stephen McKinley Henderson (2016). Tonette also gained valuable instruction at The Actors Studio (Tom Todoroff, 2016), Coca (Center of Creative Arts, Ed Reggi, 2018), and in Adult Improvisation (BJ Lange, 2018). Over the years, she actively participated in local commercials, films, and musical theater productions. In 2012, Tonette landed a role in the historical stage play "RISEN" as Dr.Rebecca Lee Crumpler written by Anthony McDonald. Proceeding with "My heart met my soul" a musical stage play written by Susan Kennedy (2013). In 2018, Tonette was non-exclusively signed to Now Talent Management. Tonette has continued to book commercials for major brands / companies as she is still apart of Now Talent Management's database. Shortly after, became a SAG / AFTRA union member. Tonette continued hard work to develop the required skills of the craft. At the age of 31, Tonette landed her first dramatic lead role in the feature film "UN-RESOLVED" as Tamika Crawford. Within the same year, she booked her first national television appearance on Investigation Discovery's "Murder Chose Me" as Sharon Boland (2017). Later booking, Disney's "Haunted Mansion" as Tiffany Haddish's body double (2021), "Mafietta II" as Dee (2022), and Investigation Discovery's "Fatal Attraction" (2022).
