Lolita earned her Master of Fine Arts in theater from Sarah Lawrence College in 2010. She has also studied with the Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Shakespeare & Co. Her theatrical education has also been enriched by her studies under the master teachers Ed Sherin, Michael Early, John Dillon, Kevin Confoy, and Catherine Fitzmaurice. Lolita is currently studying to become a teacher of the Alexander Technique and plans to train as a Fitzmaurice voice teacher next.
Lolita embarked on her career as a coach and inspirational speaker in 2008; she is scheduled to complete the coaching certification program at New York University in December 2012. Her program Unleashed by Lolita is a dynamic coaching service which empowers parents to raise empowered children. As a mother of two children, Lolita believes that every parent wants to raise confident, independent children who feel secure knowing that their families love them.
Unfortunately, that is easier said than done for parents struggling with old learned patterns of thought, reaction, and behavior which may have negative effects on themselves and their families. Through the Unleashed program, Lolita helps parents to acknowledge and overcome their own individual challenges so they can be free to build a healthier relationship with themselves and their children. Unleashed is not meant to take the place of therapy, but it can bring significant benefits to families seeking to grow emotionally and mentally.
