So much so that he jokingly prides himself on having a "Flawless American Accent".
This versatility has only served to help him garner a coveted role in the in "disturbing, stylish, and sexy" NYC Stage Production of Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange, which marked his off-broadway debut, a lead role in the edgy off-broadway play 'safeword.', and another in the epic African saga 'Bayano', at the National Black Theatre.
For his feature film debut performance, Brooks received critical acclaim as Yenny in the slow-burn thriller 'Bwoy'; opposite Anthony Rapp. In Television, he can be seen on hit shows like Madam Secretary, Elementary, and Power. Brooks received a Best Supporting Actor Award at the 2012 A.C. Cinefest for his role in the short film 'Curveball'.
