Carole Keeney Harrington is a journalist turned filmmaker. She has produced four shorts, five feature films and a feature documentary. She also wrote the script for the documentary, "Pussy Riot the Movement." Released in 2014, the movie won Best International Documentary at the Malibu Film Festival, was a finalist at the Free Speech Film Festival and was an Official Selection at the Boston Independent Film Festival. It is in distribution and available on various SVOD, VOD and cable after a five-city theatrical run.
Carole spent seven years at the Houston Chronicle as a feature and editorial writer and at Houston Community College as its Public Information Officer and later as Associate Vice Chancellor of Communications where she developed all communications materials, including overseeing the TV station where she conceived and wrote and produced PSAs, commercials and mini-docs. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's in education. She and her husband established the Film Program at HCC starting with 12 students, which has grown to 500 per semester.
As the owner of Ivy London Productions, LLC, Carole has two feature films in development that she wrote and is producing: "Jenny Marz Spectrum War" and "Empress of Texas." She also is writing and developing a WWII spy drama mini-series titled "D-Day Puzzle."
