Castle channels 1997 film Cube with a puzzle-solving extravaganza in this week's season 8 episode...
This review contains spoilers.
8.12 Blame Game
What do you get when you combine the film Cube (1997) with the television shows Criminal Minds and Star Trek: The Next Generation? Evidently, this week’s episode of Castle, The Blame Game.
For those of you who haven’t seen it, Cube is about a group of strangers who wake up in a fairly featureless room alone with a small portal in each of the walls. Through each of the portals is another room just like the one they are in, except that that room may be equipped with a deadly trap, some of which can be outwitted, almost all of which can be avoided if you’re smart enough. The strangers band together and try to find a way out, but not before turning on each other.

If you like solving puzzles, this week’s Castle was (to some degree) for you. But if you came for much of anything else… you probably left disappointed.

Taking a cue from Saw — though not even Rick dared noted the obvious parallels? — the episode found Rick drugged and held captive, lured by the prospect of a truce and collaboration with frenemy Stephen King. Would you believe that our first trip to the halls of West Beverly was 25 years ago? Trust us, we hardly can either. In honor of the 25th anniversary of the series premiere of Beverly Hills, 90210, which first graced our TV screens on Oct. 4, 1990, E! News decided to take on the daunting task of ranking all the best couples to come out of Fox's seminal classic—and it was no easy feat. After ten years, there wasn't a pairing Aaron Spelling and Co. didn't give a shot, no matter how awkward or brief. So who reigned supreme? Was it Donna (Tori Spelling) and David (Brian Austin Green) or Brenda (Shannen Doherty) and Dylan (Luke Perry)? Perhaps Brandon (Jason Priestly) and Kelly (Jennie Garth)?...

As reality television fans know, Brody Jenner isn't exactly an introvert.
Now, the self-described "sex connoisseur" will bring viewers into the bedroom on his new series Sex with Brody – and has already spilled some tawdry secrets about threesomes, his first time and wanting step-sis Khloé Kardashian to stop by the studio.
Jenner, 31, is no stranger to having cameras chronicle his personal life. His road to reality show fame began in 2005 when he, brother Brandon and best friend (and eventual The Hills villain) Spencer Pratt starred in the short-lived reality show The Princes of Malibu.

Question: Any scoop about Castle? —Fred
Ausiello: The finale — which is supposed to delve into both Castle and Beckett mythology — will feature a “distinguished, highly intelligent” psychiatrist. What say you, Mitovich? “Perhaps the shrink is a means to pull out of Rick any repressed memories about his ‘missing’ months?'” Yep, that sounds about right.

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including Glee, Sleepy Hollow, Parks and Recreation and Arrow!
1 | Between Fleshlight jokes and monologues about scissoring, is Glee going out of its way to push the envelope in its final season?
2 | Wouldn’t it be better if Revenge‘s Ben was one of Malcolm Black’s double agents? At least then he’d have a purpose, right?
3 | Can HBO please give us the toxically hilarious Girls spinoff we never knew we needed — focusing solely...

The current Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series continues to be a favorite of mine. It strikes the right balance between being a goofy, fun cartoon about a bunch of lovable characters and addressing more serious and dark themes about power and responsibility. It also does well at adding new ideas, characters, and material while including homages to previous incarnations of Tmnt and staying true to the foundations of the overall series. The art is pretty cool and unique; and of course, the voice talent and creative team are stellar.
The series is now in Season 3 (and already renewed for a fourth season!) and has taken on a slightly different focus, with the Turtles leaving the familiar NYC cityscape for other territory. A short while ago I got to sit down at the Times Square Toys “R” Us (a super-cool store with a Ferris wheel and other nifty things inside...

How I Met Your Dad creators Carte Bays and Craig Thomas took to Twitter to deny reports that the How I Met Your Mother spin-off is being redeveloped.
Right now, the semi-annual Television Critics Association tour — where the TV shows try to get that elusive media buzz that turns a show into a must-see — is assembling. Even though it isn’t set to debut until next year, there was a panel to discuss Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul, which included several revelations about the series. The series will be set in 2002, six years before Saul‘s first Breaking Bad appearance, when Saul was still Jimmy McGill. Meanwhile, Michael McKean‘s will be playing Jimmy/Saul’s brother.
