- Ron Baratono was born in Detroit, Michigan. Following his passion for writing, and acting since 1984, on January 15, 2021 PR Newswire, and other media outlets named Baratono one of the top read authors on the internet. Through 1985-90's he performed Community and Dinner Theater. His first film appearance came with a role in the John Mayer music video Clarity (2004) shot on Santa Monica Pier, California. He hired into the Auto Co in 1977 at the age of eighteen, and worked 30 years, following his passion for writing and acting while employed. He studied at Northwood University and received his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1995, also while working. Author of short stories, poems, and quotes read worldwide. With over 80 published poems. His writings also include prayers, song lyrics and over 200 published quotes for self-guidance.
The Michigan published writer and actor retired from the auto company in 2007 at the age of 48. He was cast in the primary role as Hugo in the film Search for Love Lost (2011) In addition he's played roles in such films as The Ides of March (2011). Have a Little Faith (2011). Also know for featured roles in The Last Man Standing (2011), Smooch (2011), Detroit 1-8-7 (2010) and Oz the Great and Powerful (2013). He continues to write and follow his passion for acting, on March 30th, 2015 his book was published, which is read across the globe.
