Laura Elizabeth Brailsford was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK on 20th
August 1990. Raised in Aberdeenshire, Laura attended a school in a rural area
with a very small population. Laura always involved herself in the
Arts, taking part in school plays every year and joining a small stage
school.
She left home at 18 to study in Dundee for 2 years, achieving a Diploma in Acting and Performance. It was here that she made growth as a professional actor, landing her first paid role in an NHS funded short film aimed at school children. In her years after college she involved herself in short films and educational theatre projects, hoping to get experience behind her name.
At 21 she made the decision to leave Scotland and move to London. She joined Fourth Monkey Theatre Company, as part of their ensemble repertory company. She performed in two critically acclaimed plays at The Edinburgh Festival in 2013, and is now living close to London pursuing her acting career.
