Born and raised in New York, Sandy holds a doctorate in religious studies from University of Virginia and a master's in history of culture from the University of Chicago. After ten-years in academia, he spent the next twenty years in the executive ranks at several of America's largest international firms, including Ernst & Young, General Electric, and Computer Sciences Corporation. Retiring from management consulting at age forty-nine, Sandy became CEO at PKG Entertainment, where he served as Executive Producer for Any Wonder, the debut release of Boston-based band Violet Nine, and the soundtrack for an indie film, National Lampoon's Cattle Call. Sandy now splits his time between the USA and western Siberia, where he lives part-time visiting with his son, Lukas. He lectures occasionally on culture issues at various universities both in Russia and the USA. He is author of eight published works, including the internationally selling novel, Veronika: The Siberian's Tale, available in English and Russian. He is a Executive Producer with Belovodye Pictures, working on the film project, Veronika, A Siberian Tale, in Altai Krai, Siberia.
