A Texas native, Travis graduated with a B.F.A. in Acting from Texas
State University, San Marcos. His acting credits include leading roles
in original works with companies from all over the US. He's worked on
films with the Emmy Nominated "Latino Comedy Project", performed at the
Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and released 4 critically acclaimed
albums with Austin's Indie darlings "The Sour Notes". He's workshopped
groundbreaking new material with New York's award winning "Working
Man's Clothes", later staged by "The Search Party", and undertaken
multiple roles written for him by A.John Boulanger, (National Student
Playwriting Award Winner for House of Several Stories.) He's studied
with two time Tony Award winner Shirley Knight, Rob Clare (Royal
Shakespeare Company), Glenn Morshower (24, Transformers, etc.), Richard
Brestoff (Acting Under the Circumstances, The Camera Smart Actor,
etc.), Mark Olsen (Julliard Coach), and the incredible acting faculty
of Texas State. He's been a supervisor for a Market Research Firm, a
drum teacher, and has toured the US three times in various musical
groups. Most recently, he worked with "Kentucky Shakespeare Festival"
on their 51st season of Shakespeare in Central Park, and completed two
national tours with a touring theatre troupe from North Carolina. Next
up, working on a year long contract with the "Cincinnati Shakespeare
Company" 2012/2013.
