The season of the very first sign of the zodiac is here, and that’s exactly why being a leader comes so easy for Aries folks.
And that’s no joke, Aries really don’t know what else to be but a boss, CEO or innovator, because they’d rather play by their own rules. They march to the beat of their own drum and rarely ever need anyone to play backup instrumentals. Their charm, playful personality and great sense of humor make up for their impulsiveness and sometimes hot-temper, and there’s absolutely no other sign who will keep it all the way real with you like an Aries does, even if it’s something you don’t want to hear. They tell it like it is, as dishonesty goes against their entire m.o.

Rising country singer Brittney Spencer showcased songs from her 2023 debut album My Stupid Life on CBS Saturday Morning’s latest Saturday Sessions.
For the performance, the Baltimore-born singer delivered “My First Rodeo,” “I Got Time,” and “If You Say So” from her must-hear LP released earlier this month.
“Spencer traverses a blend of muscular pop-rock, textured soul, and anthemic singalong pop, all of it grounded squarely in a genre-agnostic country that conjures Maren Morris’ landmark album Hero,” Rolling Stone said of My Stupid Life.

In a field of Netflix, stands Paramount+’s “Tulsa King” in the latest edition of Samba TV’s Weekly Wrap report providing an exclusive first look at the most-watched movies or individual TV programs from the past seven days across both linear television and streaming.
Notably, the drama from “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan was the only non-Netflix program to secure a spot on the most-watched streaming list. Starring three-time Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone, the crime series continues to generate strong viewing interest, potentially from fans of Sheridan’s other mega-hit “Yellowstone”. It’s clear that Paramount and Sheridan have a knack for building robust franchises with an engaged fan base that appears to already be paying strong dividends with each new show and each new season.
But, this week’s list highlights the remarkable staying power of Netflix’s breakout show “Wednesday” and the unofficial start of the holiday programming season.

Brett Eldredge all but reinvented his sound with 2020’s Sunday Drive, leaving behind overly polished mainstream country for nuanced story-songs. To his credit, he’s not only sticking with the vibe of that album but building on it. His new song “Holy Water,” surprise-released on Christmas Eve to coincide with Eldredge’s association with the season, is a grand piano number that shows off the Chicago-area native’s range. It’s decidedly not a holiday song, but it does paint in similar tones of hope and redemption.

Let’s face it: This Christmas season is shaping up to be less than a beaut, Clark. Fortunately, there’s some new country and Americana recordings to dull the pain. There’s been very little joy to the world in 2020, but hopefully the holiday season — and a Covid-19 vaccine — can bring back some optimism. What better place to start than Rockefeller Center in New York City? And while we’re here, let’s illuminate a huge evergreen tree.
NBC will light up the country’s Christmas tree, and hopefully children’s faces everywhere, with its “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special on Wednesday, Dec. 2, airing from 8 p.m. Et/Pt to 10 p.m. There is no encore scheduled.
For cord-cutters, the special will stream live on NBC.com and the NBC app, but there is no YouTube accompaniment. Multiple streaming services, like Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV and Sling, to name a few, carry NBC — so there’s another option.
One alternative readers definitely do not have is to attend in person: There will be no public access to this year’s tree lighting ceremony.

NBC will light up the country’s Christmas tree, and hopefully children’s faces everywhere, with its “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special on Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
While we could sure use the symbol of joy and peace this year, the selected evergreen — a 75-foot tall, 45-foot wide Norway Spruce from Oneonta, New York — doesn’t appear to be up to the challenge.
See the sad-looking, 11-ton tree here:

It looked a heck of a lot nicer all tied up. Nothing 50,000 multi-colored LED lights and one Swarovski star can’t fix, we hope.
Or just focus on the adorable stowaway owl:

After the tree leaves Rockefeller Center, it will be milled into lumber for donation to Habitat for Humanity and used to build homes in the region. Let’s hope the branches are sturdier than they look.

The 2020 CMA Awards are set to recognize country’s biggest and best stars of the past year. With the awards just around the corner on November 11, and many heated battles this year, let’s take a look at the artist categories of 2020, starting with the big one …
SEEFirst-ever Gold Derby Music Awards: Vote for the 2021 Gdma nominations now! Entertainer of the Year
The race for Entertainer of the Year is an open game, but there’s a good chance we might see country superstar Carrie Underwood win after her ACM win in the same category earlier this fall. A win here would be Carrie’s first Eoty award after two previous losses, and she’d be the first woman to win since Taylor Swift almost a decade ago. This would also be the case with Miranda Lambert, although she didn’t get in at the ACMs.

Brett Eldredge gives a stripped-down, in-studio performance of his song “When I Die” for the third installment of his “Live at Royal Plum” series, filmed at producer Daniel Tashian’s home studio. The original version of “When I Die” appears on Eldredge’s 2020 album Sunday Drive.

Brett Eldredge gave the live debut of his new single “Gabrielle” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night. An at-home performance, the clip captured the country singer in his backyard in Nashville, playing the song about a busted relationship on acoustic guitar.
It’s a bare-bones rendition, but it highlights the songwriting-focused nature of Eldredge’s upcoming album, Sunday Drive. The studio version of “Gabrielle,” released last Friday, is based around a piano melody, which Eldredge says became a hallmark of the project.

Country artists love to talk about getting out of their comfort zone. But for many who have had a taste of mainstream success, especially on don’t-rock-the-boat country radio, it usually means nothing more revolutionary than changing their shirt.
Beginning back in 2012 with “Don’t Ya,” Brett Eldredge amassed a string of radio hits. Some were solid (“Wanna Be That Song”), others less than (“Lose My Mind,” “Drunk on Your Love”), but they kept him near the top of the charts, on the road with stars like Keith Urban, and profitable.

Throughout the track, Sting whistles and croons over an acoustic guitar and soft waves of brass. In an accompanying video, the rocker discusses his connection to the classic, reflecting on his youth in Wallsend, England. “When I was 16, I had no idea how to achieve my dreams,” he says.

It’s New Year’s Eve and we’re counting down to the most venerable of holiday traditions — the Times Square ball drop to usher in 2020.
Security is high for the iconic ball drop, with drones monitoring Times Square for the first time in its history, and thousands of police both in plainclothes and in uniform keeping an eye on the festivities. The weather forecast, unlike some years, is mild, with temperatures forecast in the low to mid-40s.
For those who can’t be in New York City for the big event, there are plenty of ways to watch on TV, online or on your phone. ABC, NBC, Fox and CNN all will air live specials. Times Square NYC is also hosting an official livestream, which you can follow throughout the night on Deadline in the video above..
