Marrisa Ayala

Marrisa Ayala is an actress, dancer/choreographer and multi-talented artist who has worked professionally in the entertainment industry for over thirty years. She fell in love with the stage as a teenager and quickly decided to make it her life work. She attended college in California at Allan Hancock College and Santa Barbara City College, where she fully immersed herself in theater arts, dance, acting, and voice training. While attending Allan Hancock, she was a featured performer in the dance department concerts under the direction of Linda Maxwell. She also danced the roles of Chinese Tea and Flowers in a production of the Nutcracker under the direction of Diane Zink for the Santa Maria Civic Ballet.
After graduating with an Associate of Arts degree in Dance from Allan Hancock in 1990, she enjoyed a prolific and very successful fifteen year career in the musical theater and drama fields. She was a popular and very versatile drama and dance instructor for various performing arts studios throughout the country, while also working on numerous projects as a performer, choreographer, director, and production assistant. Favorite credits include Bye, Bye Birdie, Peter Pan, Nunsense, and Nickelodeon Girl. She was also on the judging panel for the prestigious Showbiz National Talent Competition as well as a talent judge for the highly respected Dance Masters of America.
In 2005, Marrisa decided to bring her talents and wealth of experience to the industries of film and television. Since then, she has gained credits around the country in those genres and has worked both behind the scenes and in front of the camera.
