Celeste Giaimo is a Senior at Chapman University's Dodge College of
Film and Media Arts working toward her B.F.A in Television Broadcast
Journalism with a minor in Film Studies. During her experience at
Chapman, she has mastered the techniques involved in being an on screen
hostess, anchor and interviewer. Her recent works include anchoring and
reporting for Chapman News in areas including local, national, and
entertainment news as well as weather. She is also presently the
on-the-street correspondent for the newest talk show on the Chapman
Channel, Dirty Laundry.
In addition to her broadcasting experience, Giaimo has developed a passion for documentary filmmaking and has been active in producing several short films. She has recently completed "Mountain Man," a film of a man's vision to inspire Orange County residents to become aware of the natural beauty that surrounds them. Celeste was also selected as one of four Chapman students to produce a documentary in New York City based on the creation of Broadway's Tony Award Winning musical, Memphis.
