I have to say that in my opinion there were some very questionable choices made in last weeks lip-sync LALAPaRuza challenge. That fact that Antrea went from one of the greatest lip-sync performances in the first round against the powerhouse that is Sasha Colby only to end up all the way down to the bottom three is totally absurd. If it was up to me I would have given both Sasha and Antrea the win as the talent on display during this performance was overwhelming! What is even crazier however is the fact that when Antrea was granted the opportunity to automatically save one of her fellow queens from the final battle she opted to save the weakest performer in the competition, Spice. While I totally understand the idea of respect and artist integrity, I would have chosen to battle against Spice as it would have been an easy win.

It’s time for Round 2 of the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Hunger Games! Yay! Of course, we start off with some T and some shade about Pandora Boxx and Mimi Imfurst. Did anyone expect anything else? Today’s mini challenge is InDaButtRu. That’s hashtag, #InDaButtRu. If anyone doesn’t know that reference, please educate yourself by watching the video below. The point of this challenge is to figure out how well you know your partner. Can you answer questions RuPaul poses the same way as your partner? It’s very much like The Newlywed Game but with Drag Queens that aren’t married [...]...

Controversial Mimi Imfurst made an early exit from RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race. She also went early in Season 3. This time, Mimi was hoping to show everyone more of what she has to offer. And then the contestants were told they were to compete in teams of two. She talked to Channel Guide about the experience and her band Xelle. Channel Guide Magazine: is your super busy schedule is that kind of is that a result of being on Drag Race or that pretty typical for you? Mimi Imfurst: It’s pretty typical for me. RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race eliminated two talented queens in the first episode. One of those queens was Mimi Imfurst, the self-proclaimed “Hardest Working Bitch In Show Business.” Pandora Boxx was also sent home. At the end of our recent interview, I asked Mimi if she would be so kind to answer our 7 Questions. Enjoy her answers — and check out her full interview. Pandora Boxx won the Miss Congeniality Award during RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 2. Unfortunately, that win didn’t help her on RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race and she was one of the first queens sent home, along with Mimi Imfurst. We talked with Pandora about her latest Drag Race experience & also asked her our 7 Questions. You’re at a magazine rack and can pick three titles, which ones do you choose? Like real magazines? I was thinking of crazy magazine titles. I would pick Entertainment Weekly, (Cgm) you can throw in some fake ones… (Pb) Schlong and Ebony. Your DVR [...]...

Hey gurl! RuPaul is back, along with some of the favorite drag queens from seasons past. All of the contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars made it This close to the ultimate crown, but ultimately failed. Well, ok, Tammie Brown and Mimi Imfurst didn’t really come close, but they were interesting dragtestants. All right, Tammie was interesting. Mimi got crappy editing to look like an insecure drama queen. Perhaps they will both be exonerated this time around. It seems so right that RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race would premiere on the night of the final 2012 presidential debate. After all, nothing quite matches the grotesque pageantry and exaggerated stage makeup of a political battle better than a gaggle of drag queens, and RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race is the Super Bowl of drag. In this outsize, overstuffed-sausage-casing of an episode, we meet the contestants (sorry, it's required) and get down to our very first series of eliminations! We’re introduced to the twelve all-star contestants back for another go. There’s Pandora Boxx and crowd favorite Latrice Royale; wig enthusiast Yara Sofia, and Shannel; Raven, Alexis Mateo, and Manila Luzon (whose partner Sahara Davenport unexpectedly passed away a few weeks ago*); controversial Mimi Imfurst and Nina Flowers (in serious Grace Jones–at-the-rave gear); Jujubee (who enjoys long walks on the beach and fried chicken) and last season...

RuPaul brought back twelve former contestants for the latest edition of "Drag Race." "RuPaul's All Star Drag Race" kicked off with a surprise for both the contestants and the viewers at home. For the first time ever, the contestants would be competing in pairs. This mean that they would both be eliminated together as well.
And right away, with the first elimination, there was some unrest. The teams up for elimination faced off in a lip-sych showdown, with only one person from each team competing. Their partner could tag in and complete the performance if they wanted to declare a "she-mergency."
While most of the contestants finished within the Top 4 of their respecive seasons, there were three that finished lower. Pandora Boxx came in just outside that range at 5th for her season, while Tammie Brown was an 8th place finisher and Mimi Imfurst finished a disappointing 11th her first time around on the show.

RuPaul’s Drag Race is known for its wacky twists. See: When RuPaul brought back season 2′s legendary mess-of-a-contestant Shangela at the opening of season 3 in an attempt to shake things up. And, hark: It worked. So we should have seen last night’s big twist coming from a mile away. But you know what? I actually didn’t.
The twist I’m speaking of, of course, is Ru’s decision to pair up the 12 All Stars contestants — ranging from Yara Sofia and Latrice Royale to Pandora Boxx and (yes!) Mimi Imfurst. The decision resulted in some of the show’s best drama,...

If you're not already flustered at the thought of who'll win RuPaul's All Star Drag Race, we have nothing in common. The brigade of competing queens is varied and tough, and there are plenty of competitors who deserved to place higher in their respective seasons. But that's just the problem: Some amazing runner-up or third-place finisher is bound to come in ninth here. Hunty, I'm quakin'.
Since there are only six episodes of this extravaganza, it's hard to assume that the queens will be eliminated in the traditional, one-at-a-time fashion. But in case they are, here are predictions for the chosen 12's final rankings.
12. Shannel
This is purely a strategic guess: It's my opinion that one of the better-performing queens from an early season has to lose first. Face it, it'd be kind of anticlimactic and lame if Mimi or Tammie lost first. A second chance is a second chance,...

RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars - Are These Queens Your All-Stars? Update: Yes They Are!
Uh oh... Is there a leak in the RuPaul's Drag Race camp? Or a strategically placed (yet glamorous) red-herring?

While there is a lot to get excited for, the official announcement was scheduled to be revealed tomorrow after the season finale of RuPaul's Drag U. At the end of last week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Ru announced that she was giving the judges a chance to bring back queens that they felt had been axed too soon, so I ran a poll in my post about the episode, asking: “Which queen should return to RuPaul’s Drag Race next week?”
When I last checked the results, Shangela (33 percent), Delta Work (26 percent), and Mariah (12 percent) were leading the way. And somehow, Carmen wasn’t a option in the poll (sorry, maybe that was a subliminal mistake that adds up to who I didn’t want to see back?...

Monday night on RuPaul’s Drag Race, the queens brought out their best stand-up routines. Shangela reigned triumphant by concocting a character that blended pimp and ho into one delectably raucous package. (“They say, ‘Laqueefa, where your ho’s at?’ I say, ‘B****, don’t you see I’m wearing four pair of hose right here holding back my [bleep]?!’”) Manila Luzon fell flat by digging in the mothballs for some jokes about the gay subtext of PBS’ children’s programming. The realness of this quandary lingered in my mind as I watched last night’s episode — I literally couldn’t stop thinking that thought, which is why I’m blogging about it in the wee hours of the morning and bringing the question to you,...
