Another season of the "The Apprentice" is over, viewers, and one lucky apprentice got to hear those hallowed words "You're hired!" on Dec. 9. So who was it -- former corporate lawyer Brandy Kuentzel or property developer Clint Robertson? The winner of a job with Donald Trump's organization was (drumroll please!) Brandy.
The final challenge required each candidate to put on a charity golf tournament, which task provided challenges for both Brandy and Clint. Brandy was in charge of the first half of the tournament, which included arranging tables and coordinating comedian Kathy Griffin. Clint was responsible for the tournament's gala, which included taking care of Liza Minnelli's every need. Despite the difficulties each contestant faced, they both earned positive reviews.
During the final boardroom meeting, Brandy and Clint each pleaded their case. While Clint went for the cocky pitch ("I'm a CEO in a box"), Brandy went for...

Brandy Kuentzel has been crowned the winner of The Apprentice. The 30-year-old San Francisco native was announced as the champion at the end of tonight's finale after successfully organising a golf tournament and beating out fellow finalist Clint Robertson for the title. "Here I am with everything I had hoped to gain out of this entire experience and it's just... I can't even describe how amazing it is," she said after her victory. "I am the next Apprentice. I'm just so excited." This week's finale saw Brandy continuing to put together a VIP golf tournament featuring comedian Kathy Griffin while Clint organised a dinner gala with Liza Minnelli. Brandy was joined by Liza, Stephanie and Anand on her part of the challenge and Clint recruited Mahsa, Poppy and Steuart. As the episode began, Poppy and Mahsa continued to stress over the misspelling (more)...

Hi Apprentice fans! We’re almost at the finish line for The Apprentice and I couldn’t be more fascinated by all the excitement on this week’s episode. With the two finalists being announced and former contestants returning, the game is the most cutthroat it has ever been — just the way we all like it on reality TV!
Opening Boardroom
In order to select who the finalists would be, my father had the three remaining contestants join him in the boardroom and tell him why they each felt they deserved to be the next Apprentice. This was not an enviable place for Brandy,...

The first of the two-part finale on "The Apprentice" immediately saw the firing of Liza Mucheru. The December 2 episode started right after Steuart Martens was fired, during which Donald Trump ordered the three remaining contestants to come back to the boardroom for a second elimination.
Based on personalities, Trump decided to let go of Liza because while she was "outstanding in every way" she lacked on the interpersonal skills that would make her suitable for the Trump empire. After the elimination, Liza said, "I really value Mr Trump's opinion and to hear that he didn't think I get along with people really hurt. It's hard to know that I got so close."
This left the finale to Brandy Kuentzel and Clint Robertson who each had to team up with some of the fired contestants in the final task. Brandy picked Liza, Stephanie Castagnier and Anand Vasudev while Robert got Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy,...

It's standard practice that in 'The Apprentice' (Thu., 10Pm Et on NBC) finale, several fired contestants return to help the two finalists in the last challenge.
[Spoiler alert.]
In part one of the finale, Clint heads up a dinner gala at the Trump National Golf Club. Liza Minnelli will be giving a special performance. Mahsa and Poppy peruse the event's posters: Minnelli's name is spelled wrong.
The next morning, Poppy then notices a second, far worse error. "'Liza Minnelli' wasn't just misspelled on the welcome poster. It was also on each and every individual place card that would go on the dinner tables," explains Poppy.

David Johnson has become the ninth candidate to be fired from The Apprentice. The unemployed account manager was fired after he failed to lead his team to success during an advertising campaign task. The episode began with the candidates discussing Mahsa's exit after revealing the team's profits to Team Octane. Clint seemed agitated but said that he felt he had cleared his name by addressing Mahsa in the boardroom in front of Mr Trump. The group also bickered, with Anand attacking Stephanie and describing her as "classless" after accusing her of lying in order to save her team. Mr Trump met the teams to explain this week's task, which was to create a four-page ad for Donald J Trump's Signature line of shirts, ties and cufflinks. The candidates were informed that the challenge would be judged on creativity, brand integration and overall presentation. (more)...

Hi again Apprentice fans! This week was our most exciting yet – full of surprise plot twists and game changers…and I really hope that you enjoyed watching.
Broadway Bound
One of New York’s main attractions is Broadway – the most famous theater district in the world and the most notoriously difficult place to “make it” in show business. To deliver the task this week, my father, Don and I met the remaining contestants at the famed Shubert Theatre on Broadway, where the Tony-award winning show Memphis is currently playing. My father saw it recently and loved it – so we thought...

Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy is fighting back online after being fired from The Apprentice on last night's episode. She posted a video to YouTube addressing Donald Trump directly and suggesting that he has privately acknowledged to her that she was unfairly accused of lying. Mash ends by asking for him to clear her name and adds, "if you don't, sir, I'm going after [the other candidates] next, armed with the truth and some really strong evidence. And...

Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy has become the eighth candidate to be fired from The Apprentice. The assistant district attorney was eliminated after it was revealed that she had given her team's sales figures to Octane prior to the official announcement in the boardroom. The episode began with Stephanie and Liza returning to the group after the previous episode's firing. To illustrate Liza's failings, Mahsa offered to tell the men the breakdown of their sales figures. The rest of the team were horrified at the prospect of giving away an advantage and Brandy told Mahsa to "Shut the f**k up." The situation developed into an argument which amused the men. The teams were tasked with staging backer's auditions to find investors for two new Broadway musicals. Success would depend on the quality of the team's marketing materials as well as overall presentation. (more)...

Omarosa may be long gone, but that doesn't mean there are no villains on the new season of 'The Apprentice' (Thu. 10Pm on NBC). Mahsa reached critical mass this week, as the women revealed a key element of the task to the men's team.
But what really happened created such a heated debate that both teams wound up in the Boardroom during the elimination ceremony.

Hi Apprentice Fans! It was great to be back in the boardroom this week – this time with my younger brother, Eric. Eric is an accomplished, strong businessman and philanthropist, and everyone at The Trump Organization values his opinions tremendously. I am sure that you felt the same after watching him this week!

After a fantastic performance last week, Stephanie had the opportunity to meet with Michael Rupp, the CEO of Rockport. Stephanie was incredibly impressed with Michael and was excited to meet with him, mentioning how polished and professional he was. In their time together, Michael offered...

Tyana has become the fourth candidate to be fired on the new season of The Apprentice. The 41-year-old unemployed real estate agent was chosen as the weakest link by all of her teammates and was fired by Donald Trump after Fortitude lost this week's challenge. The groups were given a task in which they had to create a guerrilla marketing stunt which would be filmed for an online video to promote all-natural snacks by Popcorn Indiana. Clint stepped up to take on the Project Manager role for Octane, while Mahsa volunteered to lead team Fortitude. Both teams experienced setbacks early on. Tyana was unimpressed with the ideas generated by her fellow teammates as she didn't believe that the women's ideas were "big enough" for the project at hand but offered no ideas as to how to get the project on track. Meanwhile, Wade felt that the men's group was generating...

Apprentice candidate Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy has said that she has no regrets about choosing to appear on the show. The 29-year-old is currently competing on the NBC competition - airing Thursdays - but her newfound fame contributed to her decision to leave her job as a prosecutor with the District Attorney last week. "It was a very difficult decision for me to make because I love being a prosecutor," she told reporters earlier today. "I think I first need to explain why I wanted to go on The Apprentice. I think we all have that one dream job; even if you might be very happy with your day job I think everyone kind of understands having that one dream that you always wanted to go for." "When I had the opportunity [to do The Apprentice] I couldn’t turn it down and it’s a decision that I do not regret at all," she continued.

Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy, 29, never told her bosses at the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office that the reason she took a two-month leave was to compete on "The Apprentice."
Mahsa spoke with "Extra's" Aj Calloway and told him that the success of the show made it difficult to keep her job.

While she's still in the running for a gig with Donald Trump, one sexy contestant on The Apprentice has just lost her day job. Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy has quit her job in the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office after she ticked off her bosses by joining the show without telling them. The comely 29-year-old submitted her walking papers on Monday and her last day is today. She began the $50,000 a year job in January, taking a two-month leave of absence to shoot the show, but failing to notify the higher-ups what she was doing. "I want to emphasize had we known she was going on The Apprentice we would not have approved it," Jerry Schmetterer, spokesman for D.A. Charles J. Hynes, tells E! News....

On last night's episode of NBC's The Apprentice, tensions mounted between AngryBot David and hangdog lawyer James in a task that required them to operate a Hotel for Dogs. Whether or not the absence of Emma Roberts contributed to this is unknown, but the episode ended with James slowly waddling out of the boardroom with his ears tucked beneath his chin (Aww!).However, the most memorable aspect of last night's Apprentice involved fellow contestant Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy's detailed breakdown of her origin story. It’s Week 3 of The Apprentice – and I am happy to be back in the boardroom, watching the contestants duke it out on this week’s task! As each week progresses, the stakes are getting higher, and we’re seeing more passion from everyone – which means we are definitely going to see some great television. My father’s key piece of advice has always been to be passionate about what you do and I think that the contestants are beginning to realize that they have to put their hearts and souls into every task. Speaking of which, one of the...

The Apprentice 7's Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy resigned Monday from the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office two weeks after being demoted over her celebrity. She's the abrasive contestant who Ivanka Trump said "was brutal" and is "so unprofessional," in addition to having "a terrible attitude." The D.A. "decided to transfer Saeidi-Azcuy to a lower-profile position in the office's early case assessment bureau following the show's Sept. 16 premiere," the New York Law Journal reports, though a spokesperson "declined...

Tough-as-nails 'Apprentice' contestant Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy has put the nails in her own coffin, killing her career as a Brooklyn assistant district attorney. But could this mean good things for down the road on 'The Apprentice'?
In a situation more fitting for an episode of 'Law and Order,' Saeidi-Azcuy resigned after being recognized during her real-life job as an assistant district attorney in Brooklyn, N.Y.
This season of 'The Apprentice' purported to feature workers suffering from the effects of a down economy; the contestants were assumed to be unemployed. So, it was surprising when viewers were introduced to a gainfully-employed Ada vying for a job at the Trump Organization.
Apparently, none were more surprised than her own boss, Brooklyn District Attorney Charles J. Hynes.
