Ken Sanborn(I)
- Producer
Ken Sanborn is a visionary. He's gone from being an Emmy award winning
director/cameraman for the ABC Television network in NY to being one of
the most successful entrepreneurs on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Ken
Sanborn is no stranger to the film and television business. He has more
than 40 years of experience dating back to working in his father's film
production business in Lakeland Florida, ultimately ending up in NY at
ABC News. After his award-winning career in NY, Ken Sanborn pioneered
the concept of installing cameras on helicopters. That ingenuity
revolutionized news gathering, traffic reporting and law enforcement.
His Gyrocam Systems' annual profits soared to half a billion dollars.
He saved countless lives in Iraq and Afghanistan by producing
bomb-detecting cameras for the Pentagon. Sanborn sold Gyrocam Systems
to Lockheed Martin in 2009. Sanborn's business acumen and his passion
for the television and film business led to the birth of Sanborn
Studios. His first project which has already been picked for
distribution and is already in pre-production called "Miami 24/7",
based on his own experience flying helicopters in the competitive world
of TV news. Many more projects are in the pipeline
