Patrick Murray has been in the entertainment and financial services industries for over 30 years, with broad experience in finance, business affairs, production, distribution, strategic planning and investment banking in the film, television and related media industries. He has been a senior finance and operations executive for a number of entertainment companies, including HBO, IMAX Corporation, Avenue Pictures and InterMedia. He has had a significant role in the financing, production and distribution of over 75 feature film and television projects, as well as the development of production studios in Europe, Asia and North America.
In addition to his responsibilities at Bron, Murray is a partner in Los Angeles Media Fund, and is President of Patrician Capital Management, through which he developed and manages the IMAX Documentary Film Fund, a $50mm equity fund which co-finances documentary films for distribution by IMAX Corporation. He is also advising IMAX on the creation of a much larger equity fund to co-finance commercial feature films in China.
Murray has a BA, MA and MBA all from UCLA, and lives in Sherman Oaks, CA, with his wife Andrea.
