Here’s to Hugh Hefner.
On Thursday, the Playboy mogul’s four children went out to dinner in Brentwood, California and were photographed raising a glass, presumably in their deceased father‘s honor.
Although all four of Hefner’s children were present at the Japanese restaurant Katsuya — Christie, 64, David, 62, Marston, 27, and Cooper, 26 — Hefner’s wife Crystal Harris, 31, did not join them.
Hefner, 91, died Wednesday from natural causes at home in The Playboy Mansion, surrounded by loved ones.

Dread Central hopped a flight to Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday, October 3, in order to cover the opening of the haunt attraction Fright Dome at Adventuredome at Circus Circus, and we came back with not only a celebrity-filled gallery from the black carpet but also a report!
Arriving to the gusty Fright Dome carpet, we were beset by a menagerie of scare actors hired by Fright Dome creator and owner Jason Egan, who in true Tod Browning fashion had employed (among the requisite clowns and chainsaw-wielding madmen) individuals with actual physical anomalies, which were accentuated by entirely professional makeups. In addition to the duo of Johnny Eck-like young women with truncated torsos (who were made up as zombies and dashed about the carpet using their hands as locomotion), another actor sported a gruesome facial makeup which served to highlight his entirely empty optical orb (the result of sinus cancer,...

Marston Hefner, Hugh Hefner’s 21-year-old son, pleaded no contest to corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant in a Pasadena court yesterday, according to the Associated Press. He had been arrested in February for kicking and punching then-girlfriend Claire Sinclair, 2011′s Playboy Playmate of the Year. He is expected to be sentenced to a year of domestic violence counseling and to be ordered to stay away from Sinclair for three years, Assistant Pasadena City Prosecutor Chris Blankenhorn said.
“At the end of the three years, he can withdraw his plea, similar to an expungement. But it’s contingent upon him obeying all laws and court conditions,” Blankenhorn told the New York Daily News.
“We got into an argument about something really silly and it kind of escalated and it became violent,” Sinclair told E! at the time, adding that Hefner was “unstable” throughout the course of their relationship and inconsistently took his antidepressants.

First "The Playboy Club" announced the obvious promotion of planting one of the show's stars, actress Laura Benanti, on the cover Playboy's October edition. Now, in keeping with the lessons from Crossover 101, it appears a Playmate may soon appear on the NBC show.
Claire Sinclair, Playboy's 2011 Playmate of the Year, took to her Twitter page to announce she read for a role in upcoming series.
"Just auditioned for the NBC Playboy Club show," she writes. "I would love to be part of it!!"
This would be Sinclair's first venture into scripted programming, however she has made frequent appearances on the E! program "Holly's World" starring former Playmate/Hef girlfriend Holly Madison.
The 20-year old Sinclair retro style should be a good match for the period drama that takes place in 1960s Chicago. Her look has often been compared to pinup icon Bettie Page and even Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend and former Playmate Barbi Benton.
