As the old saying goes, once you reach the top, the only way to go is down. Perhaps that’s a part of the reason why so many “Survivor” winners never returned to play again. There have been 39 winners over the past 41 seasons, and of those a whopping 27 played multiple times. Thus, over the past two decades, 12 “Survivor” champions took home the 1 million check and never looked back — or were never asked back. See the full list below.
Several winners found success on their second go-around, like Amber Brkich (“All-Stars”) and Parvati Shallow (“Micronesia”). For others it took a long while to get there, like Rob Mariano (“Redemption Island”), who didn’t prevail until his fourth season.
Some of the most recent champs like Chris Underwood (Season 38), Tommy Sheehan (Season 39) and Erika Casupanan (Season 41) haven’t had a chance to return to the game quite yet, but we’re optimistic...

Today — barely nine months since the pandemic took off in earnest — the United States has surpassed 10 million cases of the coronavirus. That’s according to Johns Hopkins University, a bastion of public health and medicine, not a media outlet that some may choose to dismiss as “fake.” More than 237,000 Americans have died since the first reported case of Covid-19 in January.
And yet, today, a number of country music artists — some who should more than know better — are spouting off about “hypocrisy.” As they see it, this weekend’s spontaneous...

If there’s one thing every Bachelor Nation member can agree on about Peter Weber, it’s that he’s indecisive Af. When he did make decisions on “The Bachelor,” well, they were usually not great. And if you ask his “Bachelor” predecessor Colton Underwood, it did not have to be this way.
“I just would’ve loved to see Peter stand up for himself more and put his foot down,” Underwood told “Entertainment Tonight” (watch above). “I’m not only saying stand up to some of the women on his season, but even with production and things going on behind the scenes. I just would’ve loved for Peter to be like, ‘Listen, guys, this is what I want, this is what we need to figure out, we need to get this done.'”

Let’s get one thing out of the way. The winner of each “Survivor” season deserved to win, because they were able to do the most important thing in the game, which is to convince the jury to vote for them to be the Sole Survivor. Each season comes with a different set of circumstances and we can respect the decision process that goes into rewarding one castaway over the other with the $1 million prize. That doesn’t stop us from feeling a little outraged over some jury decisions, however. Tour our gallery above of the 12 “Survivor” runners-up we feel were most robbed of the title.
Some runners-up had to go up against a last-minute variable, like Chrissy Hofbeck and the final fire-making challenge in “Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers” and Gavin Whitson and the presence of Chris Underwood, who spent most of the game on the Edge of Extinction...

Dear Chris Harrison, I'd like to thank you on behalf of Bachelor Nation for your services. If this week's complicated Bachelor finale taught viewers anything, it's that you are a live-tv pro. The wrap-up for Peter Weber's season of the show could not have been more of a mess, and you managed to spin that mess into water-cooler-talk gold. You delivered on your promise: Peter's was the most dramatic season finale ever.
As someone who's watched every season of every Bachelor franchise, I've tuned in to see Chris navigate tricky waters more than a few times. That Jake and Vienna sit-down? The Jason Mesnick switcheroo? I mean, wow. Chris has certainly moderated his fair share of - how do I put this? - sh*tshow scenarios, and the conversations between Peter, Madison Prewett, and the Weber family certainly rank among the franchise's most awkward moments ever.

First, Hannah Brown came back. Then, there was Champagne-gate, Chase Rice showed up, and finally, Alayah returned. But even during a season of The Bachelor so heavily produced, no one was prepared to see the final three women - Madison Prewett, Hannah Ann Sluss, and Victoria Fuller - be forced to stay together during Fantasy Suites week.
This isn't the usual case when it comes to the long-running franchise. Typically, by hometowns, the women or men are secluded from each other and only come together for those final few rose ceremonies. But in an incredibly awkward twist for this season, all three women must stay together in Australia, where the final weeks take place.
This is cruel and unusual, even by reality-tv standards.

Hunter Hayes performed on The Bachelor last night in a small concert in Victoria Fuller’s hometown for her date with Peter Weber. The two had already gone to one concert during a one-on-one date, but it was ruined when Peter learned that she had dated the musician, Chase Rice, before coming on the show. In an attempt to save their […]...

There's no doubt that Victoria Fuller is one of the most controversial contestants that The Bachelor has had in a while. Between her ex drama, her penchant for tears, and her off-show history, there's never a shortage of drama when it comes to Victoria. We've broken things down to keep track of all the drama so far . . . with more likely still to come.
Victoria's Controversial Photo Shoot
Even before Victoria began filming, she was embroiled in controversy. Back in 2016, she modeled for a fish conservation campaign that chose the provocative slogans "White Lives Matter" and "Blue Lives Matter" to raise awareness for conservation of white and blue marlin. While ostensibly created for a good cause, the politically charged nature of the slogans - which were largely created in reaction or opposition to the Black Lives Matter movement - raised questions about Victoria's judgment.

Peter Weber and the remaining 10 women traveled to Santiago, Chile, on Wednesday’s episode of “The Bachelor” for what ultimately became a series of meltdowns, showdowns and surprising exits.
In the calm before multiple storms, Peter gave frontrunner Hannah Ann the first one-on-one date. After a cutesy stroll through the city, it was time to get serious. Peter has been smitten with Hannah Ann since the very second she stepped out of the limo in Week 1, but he finally revealed deep concerns, specifically about their age difference. He’s 28 and she’s 23. Is she too young to really consider becoming his wife? After all, he’s made it clear he’s not looking for someone to be his next girlfriend.
Things worsened when Hannah Ann admitted she had never been in love despite a previous three-year relationship. Nevertheless, after they each did some soul-searching, particularly Hannah Ann who was at...

Monday's episode of The Bachelor featured a group date in Costa Rica where a photo shoot for Cosmopolitan magazine took place. The "prize" after the contestants posed for a fashion spread in bikinis, which was awarded to the woman with the most chemistry with Peter, was a digital cover shoot. Victoria F. took the prize and the photo shoot, but if you're hoping to see the digital cover on Cosmopolitan's website, you're out of luck: the cover will not be published, and it all comes down to another past shoot Victoria did that didn't sit well with Cosmopolitan or its values.
In a letter posted on the magazine's website, editor in chief Jessica Pels explains why the cover was ultimately discarded. "When it came time for me to choose the winner of the challenge - whose prize was a digital cover of Cosmo - all I knew about the contestants...

Yet again, I've come here to say the producers on The Bachelor have gone too far. This time, however, it's not to say that they've needlessly dredged up painful family memories, maliciously aired a breakup that should have been kept private, or overlooked racist and homophobic comments in a contestant's past social media - not the franchise's first brush with poor background checks, incidentally. I'm not even here to harp on the fact that this season's dates have included fashion shows and pillow fights.
No, Peter Weber's season is simply overly produced to the point of blatant meddling and manipulation. It begins in the premiere, in which we learn that Peter had a chance meeting with Kelley Flanagan prior to filming. No big deal - except that later in the episode, there's a group date at the very hotel where they first danced and sparks flew. This is an...

If you thought this week’s drama with Chase Rice and Alayah‘s return weren’t enough on “The Bachelor,” well, get ready for double the drama and quintuple the tears next week because there will be two episodes on Monday and Wednesday, ABC has announced.
Episode 5 will air in the show’s regular timeslot on Monday, Feb. 3 at 8/7c and is three hours long. In it, Peter Weber and his gals head to Costa Rica, which is where he suffered that “freak accident” that left him with 22 stitches on his forehead in October. Oh, and of course, this episode will also cover the fallout from him letting Alayah return to the show after she got eliminated in the previous episode. There’s also a swimsuit photo shoot for “Cosmopolitan” and “one struggling woman decides on a make-or-break scheme to convince the Bachelor to give her a rose,” per the press release.

Cleveland rocks! The women said goodbye to the mansion for the final time this season on “The Bachelor,” traveling to Ohio to mingle with Peter Weber for some fun on the gridiron while coping with a shocking return, resetting the entire playbook.
Upon arrival, Victoria F., a standout in Week 2 during the runway challenge opposite frontrunner Hannah Ann, received the first one-on-one date. Although afraid of heights, Victoria took to the skies with Peter for a flight to nearby Cedar Point Amusement Park, where a blast from the past rocked their time together. After enjoying a few rides, they were sweetly serenaded by country star Chase Rice, who was revealed to be Victoria’s ex-boyfriend. She broke up with Chase shortly before coming on the show, and more interestingly, she mentioned he was against her being on the show altogether.

Forget Ex on the Beach, it's all about Ex on the Bach. Viewers were riveted (and cringing) during Monday night's episode of The Bachelor when contestant Victoria Fuller walked hand-in-hand with Peter Weber to what was supposed to be a fun concert during their one-on-one only to find her ex-boyfriend Chase Rice standing on the stage. Looking like a deer in headlights and clearly unsure of what to do, Victoria F. awkwardly danced with and kissed Peter as her country singer ex serenaded them. Talk about uncomfortable. While it was definitely one of the most dramatic blasts from the pasts Bachelor Nation has seen, it was far from the first, as the franchise has a long history of contestants' exes popping up to...

We're used to lots of twists on The Bachelor, but this season's controversial contestant Alayah managed to pull off something that hasn't really happened before: returning after being eliminated, and not being kicked right back out. We're still shocked at how she did it, so here's a complete breakdown of Alayah's return and what happened when she came back.
After last week's drama, in which Victoria P. revealed that Alayah had asked her to hide their previous friendship while on the show, Alayah got sent home during the rose ceremony, along with a few other women in the house. Even aside from the Victoria P. issue, Alayah had made quite a few enemies in the house, who accused her of being fake and putting on an act for Peter and the cameras. That brings us to tonight, when Alayah crashed the evening portion of Peter's group date with a bunch of the remaining women.

The Victoria F. drama from this week's episode of The Bachelor has taken yet another turn. It was dramatic enough when Victoria F. and Peter's one-on-one date was at a concert by her ex, country singer Chase Rice, but now Rice himself is speaking out, and he's not happy about how he's been roped into the drama.
Rice did an interview with the Seattle-based Fitz in the Morning radio show on Jan. 24, and he made it very clear that he was as blindsided by the "coincidental" date setup as Victoria and Peter apparently were.
"I told my manager and my publicist, they were like, 'Don't even worry about that. They're not going to do that to you, that's a weird coincidence, but they're not gonna - there's no way they would do that to you. They've never brought somebody else in like that, surprised the guest on the show' . . . So...

Victoria Fuller wasn't the only one upset about that Bachelor run-in with her ex Chase Rice. The 34-year-old singer appeared on Friday's episode of Fitz in the Morning and said he was "really pissed off" after all the drama. Last night, Bachelor Nation watched Fuller go on a one-on-one date with Bachelor Peter Weber. The day started off with the pilot taking the medical sales rep on a scenic flight over Cleveland and then shutting down an entire theme park for the couple to enjoy. However, things took a turn after the duo headed over to see a private concert—which just so happened to be put on by Rice. Needless to say, Fuller wasn't happy about the surprise. "We turn the corner;...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched the fourth episode of Season 24 of “The Bachelor.”
After weeks of being cooped up in the Bachelor mansion, Peter Weber’s contestants were finally released to their first travel destination: Cleveland, Ohio.
The first week’s one-on-one went to Victoria Fuller, and she and Weber spent the majority of the day in Sandusky, Ohio’s Cedar Point theme park. There two had the destination to themselves, where they ran into musician Chase Rice, with whom Fuller had a prior relationship.
After discovering that she was on the date with pilot Pete, Rice pulled her to the side and expressed that she should just tell her current conquest the truth.
And she did.
“So, Chase and I used to date,” Fuller shared with Weber.
“Like the singer Chase?” he responded. “The guy that was doing the concert? Wait, what? No.

Rice has sold over 1.6 million albums and has more than 1.1 billion total streams, so it’s […]...

Prior to competing for Peter Weber's heart on The Bachelor, Victoria Fuller once had a romance with country singer Chase Rice. Even though Fuller and Rice are no longer together, the two reunited when Rice performed for Fuller and Weber on the show - because nothing is more awkward than your ex serenading you and your new love interest, right?
Following their date, Fuller came clean to Peter about her past with Rice. She told Peter that they dated, but she eventually broke it off because "his lifestyle" didn't match up with what she wanted in a relationship. While Fuller didn't specify how long they were together, Rice recently opened up about their short-lived romance on the Fitz in the Morning radio show ahead of the episode.
