Priscilla Nzimiro Nwanah, a Nigerian American Film & Television Director/Producer, boasts over 15 years of experience spanning various genres. Notably, in 2022 she worked as producer on "Blood Sisters," a Netflix thriller series that has propelled African stories to a broader global audience. Prior to this, she excelled at EbonyLifeTV, creating programs like "The Fattening Room" and "Tiannah's Empire."
In 2021, she directed "Love Swap" and "Nollywood Queens," capturing the urban African experience. Her debut film, "The Royal Hibiscus Hotel," premiered at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival, and she produced the highest-grossing Nollywood film of 2017, "The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai."
In 2019, she launched the podcast "Not just Nollywood," and amidst the pandemic, collaborated on visual content, including a short experimental film with Grammy-nominated artist Somi. Presently, she's partnered with Black Roots Media for the documentary series, "Uncommon Beauty," exploring African gender and identity through fashion, art, and photography.
