Some disappointing Chicago Fire spoilers have just been revealed.
Eamonn Walker, who has played Chief Boden on the NBC drama for 12 years, is out as a series regular.
The previous episode of Chicago Fire showed what a Bodenless Firehouse 51 looks like, as Kelly Severide (played by Taylor Kinney) was left in charge.
That’s not a temporary situation, it turns out, as bad news has been revealed about the future of Chief Boden
Boden has served as a father figure for the family at Firehouse 51. Even when he took a new position, he had his office at the firehouse.
But now, some heavy hints have been revealed about the character’s future. It will mean a shift in the tone for the One Chicago show.
Eamonn Walker is no longer a series regular
According to Deadline, Eamonn Walker is stepping away as a series regular. It means he will no longer be a primary character.

The Chicago Fire cast has added another new face for Season 12.
It’s already been a season of change at Firehouse 51, and that continues with the next new episode.
Exits are happening frequently this season, beginning with Firefighter Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende) leaving Chicago in the season premiere.
Paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) married Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and then moved to Portland. Her exit was a tough one for the fans.
New Paramedic Jared Lennox (Wesam Keesh) dropped in for two episodes but wasn’t a good fit at the firehouse. Chief Boden sent him packing – a decision that could lead to repercussions later.
A new episode of Chicago Fire introduced another new paramedic. But she might stick around for a while, especially since Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) took a liking to her.
Here is the latest news on Jake Gibson (Rome Flynn).

Firehouse 51 has lost another one of its own. New Chicago Fire cast member Rome Flynn has exited the NBC drama after six episodes.
Rome Flynn exits ‘Chicago Fire’ (L-r) Rome Flynn as Derrick Gibson, Christian Stolte as Randy McHolland in ‘Chicago Fire’ Season 12 | Adrian S Burrows Sr/NBC
Flynn joined Chicago Fire at the beginning of season 12 as new recruit Derrick Gibson, an ex-boxer with a troubled past. He took a spot on Truck 81 previously occupied by Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende), who left the show in the season premiere to move to Detroit.
Unfortunately, Gibson’s time at 51 was brief. As he eventually revealed to Carver (Jake Lockett), he’d embarked on a career as a firefighter after accidentally killing a man during a boxing match. But the trauma from that incident still haunted him. He was also abusing drugs in an attempt to cope with his mental health issues.

Chicago Med alum Torrey DeVitto gave a new interview exploring why she returned to the show.
Torrey played Dr. Natalie Manning for the first six seasons of Chicago Med, most of which had her character in a relationship with Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss).
Her character had to leave the hospital after it was discovered that she was stealing drugs from a drug trial to help her mom.
Those drugs worked, keeping her mom around for much longer. Dr. Halstead tried to take the fall for Dr. Manning, but it didn’t work.
Torrey returned for the first episode of Season 7 to give her character closure. Will went to Natalie’s house to say goodbye to her and her son, giving them one final conversation before she finished packing her car to leave for Seattle.
Chicago Med fans were surprised when Torrey secretly returned to film a scene for the Season 8 finale.

The Chicago Fire cast has revealed a new actress joining the show for Season 12.
Presumably, this new person could wind up as the partner to Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith).
Losing Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) has been difficult for Firehouse 51. Her replacement was shoehorned into the firehouse by the new paramedic chief.
It turned out that Chief Robinson was trying to send a message to the firehouse and Chief Boden and that she wanted to replace the “old guard” in Chicago.
Jared Lennox (Wesam Keesh) surfaced as Violet’s new partner and frequently questioned her medical choices in the field.
The situation between Lennox and Violet escalated to the point where he reported her as being “aggressive” and “disrespectful” on the job.
When Boden pushed Lennox out of the firehouse, Robinson showed up to give him a piece of her mind. And now it means a new paramedic for Firehouse 51 again.

Exclusive: Following Kara Killmer’s exit from NBC’s Chicago Fire, a new paramedic is checking into Season 12. Jocelyn Hudon has joined the cast in a recurring role with a series regular option, sources close to production tell Deadline.
Season 12 has been a time of change on Fire. In addition to Killmer’s departure following a festive wedding to—the love of her life— Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) at a fish store, Rome Flynn’s Derek Gibson quietly said goodbye in this week’s episode.
But this is Chicago Fire, so who knows if/when these actors could come back to reprise their roles or to boss their friends around as directors. Speaking of which, Brian Tee will direct episode 911 this season of his former series Chicago Med and Jesse Lee Soffer will direct a Season 11 episode of Chicago P.D. One can hope Soffer is...

Chicago Fire introduced a new paramedic during the latest episode. It has already caused drama at Firehouse 51.
It was clear that things would get tricky after Sylvie Brett left the job, but the new Paramedic In Charge, Violet Mikami, couldn’t find a rhythm with the new person sitting next to her in Ambulance 61.
Wesam Keesh has joined the Chicago Fire cast as Jared Lennox. The character seems to know his stuff but also has a penitent for asking questions at the wrong time.
During one call, Lennox let the wife of their patient know that Violet was new to the job. It caused the woman to question Violet’s abilities.
Violet appeared very stressed that Lennox was undermining her, and when she chastised him about it later, she also told Lennox he had received his second strike on the job.

Many Chicago P.D. fans will love the spoilers that actor Jason Beghe has revealed.
The latest dramatic episode of the show flipped a switch in Hank Voight, especially with the similarities that the current case has to when his son died.
After trying his best to care for Noah — the victim of a serial killer who had escaped at first — Voight has become slightly untethered.
Intelligence is also tasked with a difficult case – a primary reason Voight brought in an extra detective to help with the investigation.
Are the Chicago P.D. producers dropping hints about who might replace Detective Hailey Upton?
Tracy Spiridakos — the actress who has played Upton for years — is departing the One Chicago drama this season.
Jason Beghe speaks about a return of ‘the old Voight’ on Chicago P.D.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chicago Fire Season 11 Episode 7 “Red Flag.”] Listen, Firehouse 51 has had to deal with problems and people coming after them before. But there’s something about the latest threat on Chicago Fire that has us especially worried. Following Kara Killmer‘s exit, no one was going to be able to fill Brett’s shoes on Ambulance 61. Even the new paramedic, Lennox, acknowledged that and said he “would never even try.” But before he even showed up, we had reason to be concerned about who would be joining Paramedic in Charge Violet (Hanako Greeensmith), and every single part of the latest episode confirmed we were right to be. Chief Robinson (Laura Allen) not only gave Violet zero input on her new partner or a heads up on who it is, she also didn’t ...

It’s hard to imagine Ambulance 61 without Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) after she’s been a staple there since Season 3. But now, Chicago Fire, in its 12th season, is moving forward without her—in Killmer’s last episode, Brett married Casey (Jesse Spencer) and moved with him to Portland—and that means someone has to join Violet (Hanako Greensmith). A photo for the March 27 episode, “All the Dark,” shows Wesam Keesh as Lennox, working alongside Violet (check it out above), and Dick Wolf fans will recognize him: He played hacker Malachi on Law & Order: Organized Crime! Through Svu‘s crossovers with One Chicago, Fire and Organized Crime are technically in the same universe, but he’d be far from the first person to play multiple characters across Dick Wolf shows (or on the same one!). The Suits L.A. cast has released another name, and this person was recently seen on Chicago Fire.
Actor Troy Winbush has been added to the Suits L.A. cast, fleshing out another character the show will focus on.
Suits L.A. is being referred to as a brand extension because it will continue the timeline of stories told on Suits.
This new show isn’t exactly a spin-off because it won’t focus on characters that originally appeared on Suits. But it does open the doors for people to return.
Filming for a pilot episode for Suits L.A. will reportedly begin in April, with some recognizable names attached to the project.
It’s clear that the streaming success Suits has found on Netflix has led to this moment, and it may spur additional interest in Suits L.A.

Chicago Fire Season 12 was late due to two Hollywood strikes.
Rather than the new episodes arriving in September or October, the season premiere aired in January.
Pushing back the premiere date will mean fewer episodes can debut during this television season.
Instead of having 22 to 24 new episodes, Chicago Fire Season 12 will only have 13. At least it’s something because the months with no new content were brutal.
Unfortunately, breaks are needed within the schedule to allow additional filming, even with a shorter season.
That’s why Chicago Fire has a new hiatus underway that will last deep into March.
Is Chicago Fire new tonight?
March 6 and 13 will feature repeat episodes from Chicago Fire Season 12.

Why are stars missing from Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. episodes? Here’s your answers
Fans of One Chicago tuning in to new episodes of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. have noticed something odd.
Some fan-favorite characters have been missing episodes, leading to questions about their futures on the shows.
It might surprise some viewers that this is all part of a plan behind the scenes at One Chicago.
It’s expensive to film primetime dramas with large ensemble casts. Each One Chicago show relies on many people to film new episodes.
Chicago Fire has the biggest cast of the group, with many characters working out of Firehouse 51. And the salaries add up quickly.
Chicago P.D. fans also likely noticed that the writers used excuses about why characters are missing each week – like training, furloughing, or spending time with a family member. That’s in the plans.
Why are popular characters missing from One Chicago episodes?

Some fan-favorite characters have been missing episodes, leading to questions about their futures on the shows.
It might surprise some viewers that this is all part of a plan behind the scenes at One Chicago.
It’s expensive to film primetime dramas with large ensemble casts. Each One Chicago show relies on many people to film new episodes.

Chicago P.D. is now on hiatus after an episode focusing on Hank Voight.
Voight was reminded of his son several times that night, beginning with a bartender giving him an old picture of Justin.
The victim in the case also reminded Voight of his son, leading to him putting in extra work to close it.
Though Voight wasn’t able to figure out who kidnapped and tortured a boy named Noah, viewers learned in the final scene that Voight had Noah living with him.
Chicago P.D. will likely address the case again later, but it won’t be until weeks after the ongoing hiatus at NBC.
Even though the One Chicago shows finally returned this winter after missing many months, the shows are taking a long break in March.

Chicago Fire aired Kara Killmer’s final episode, ending her run as paramedic Sylvie Brett.
It was an emotional night for the show, with Brett and Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) possibly leaving Chicago for good.
But the door remains open for them to guest star on future episodes, much like Jesse has done since his first exit in Season 10.
Brett’s story was wrapped up well. The writers gave her a husband, a baby, and the hope of continuing her work in the medical field.
Likewise, Casey found happiness again, has a new baby, and is part of a family in their Portland home.
Jesse Spencer wrote a goodbye message for Kara Killmer, noting how much he enjoyed working with her. And while he left Chicago Fire to spend time with his family, Kara may have other plans.
It was also good to see Amelia again during the Brettsey wedding.

It's a beautiful exit for Kara Killmer, whose Brett got to prove once again that she's a one-in-a-million paramedic that the house will sorely miss.

Everything that makes Chicago Fire Chicago Fire was celebrated for the wedding episode, and we wouldn't want it any other way.
As frantic as everything seemed going into the bachelorette party and while building up to the wedding, it went off without a hitch.
A wedding in a fish store is unique and hard to plan for, but every detail fell into place right up until they said I do.
Tony didn't understand why they were calling it a "fish store" wedding with some derision when...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 6 “Port in the Storm.”] Chicago Fire said goodbye to Kara Killmer and her character, Brett, in style, with her and Casey’s (Jesse Spencer) wedding. First up, however, is telling Casey about the location of their wedding, a fish store—which maid of honor Violet (Hanako Greensmith) promises to make sure is in amazing shape—but as he assures Brett when he finds out, “I don’t care where we get married, Sylvie. As long as it’s you and me there, we’re all good.” But for a moment, it looks like his best man might not make it. Kidd’s (Miranda Rae Mayo) worried when her texts to Severide (Taylor Kinney) go unanswered, and she even lies to Cruz (Joe Minoso) and claims he said his flight was delayed. Then she thinks he’s calling to tell her he completely missed his flight, only...

Kara Killmer will be quick to tell you that playing her Firehouse 51 paramedic character Sylvie Brett has been daunting at times, while she focused on saving the lives of traumatized citizens for 10 years on NBC’s Chicago Fire. But, just as the resilient paramedic never wavered in fighting for a stranger’s life on the show, one could argue that Brett never gave up on the idea of true love, either.
Then, it happened! Across a 10-season arc, viewers watched Brett and firefighter Lieutenant Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) culminate from close friendship to a love story that some would call a fairytale. Sure, there were dips and low points in Sylvie and Matt’s romance, but they seemed to always find their way back to one another.
That love story culminated on Chicago Fire Wednesday night with the two getting married, and Lt. Casey taking his new bride away to...

The tenure for a Chicago P.D. police chief is pretty short.
Now, the One Chicago drama introduces a new one, possibly with his eyes on urging the Intelligence team to close even more cases.
The police chief in Season 10 committed suicide when he discovered that his son was a murderer.
Michael Gaston played Chief Patrick O’Neal on Chicago P.D. and was quite good on the show. But the character had a blind spot for his son.
Thanks to the relationship between Chief O’Neal and Hank Voight, Intelligence got to add a new person: Officer Dante Torres.
Now, a new man is in charge and is part of Chicago P.D. Season 11, Episode 6 (February 28).
Who plays Chief Waldron on the Chicago P.D. cast?
Robert Manning Jr plays Chief Waldron in the new episode of Chicago P.D.
