Kasra Shokravi was born in Bandar Abbas, Iran. In 1990, he and his
family decided to move to America. Growing up in America, Kasra found
himself surrounded by two things: his Persian culture rich with color
and design, and photography. However, he true passion laid in
dinosaurs. This lead him to a screening of Spielberg's Jurassic Park.
Soon enough he found himself at the movies time and time again. Movies
eventually turned into a passion and he decided to pursue filmmaking in
college, opting to specify in cinematography, following in line with
his cultures rich colors and growing up around cameras. H
He holds a B.A. in Film Production from San Francisco State University
and an M.F.A. in Cinematography from Chapman University and works in
the film industry in Los Angeles.
