As an original employee of the punk rock club CBGB, Suzie created the all-girl band Cheap Perfume, for which she played bass and composed songs, including the band's biggest hit, "Ordinary Girls.".
Suzie was Vice President of Operations for TV Producer Sandy Frank, for whom she worked for 33 years.
For her work as a producer, actress, musician, and makeup special effects artist on independent horror movies, Susan Palermo was inducted into D'Ment'D Cinema's Horror Hall of Fame on January 1, 2012.
