Anyone who follows actor Lee Pace on Instagram knows that he likes to capture special moments in his life and career. But what you might not know is that when he truly wants to mark something unique, he uses a film camera to do it.
“When I look at the pictures that my parents took of us growing up before they got a digital camera, there’s something about, you pull out the camera on a special day. You pull up the camera on someone’s birthday, at the wedding, or the day that you’re just like, ‘I love everyone here and I want to remember this day and everyone here,'” Pace tells Variety. “I love my iPhone and the pictures I can take on it, but it feels kind of ubiquitous. The CW has released the official description for the March 28th episode of The Flash, and it teases big things to come for the Fastest Man Alive. For starters, more is revealed about the planned debut of Abra Kadabra, a villain we recently learned will be played by Ant-Man star David Dastmalchian.
It’s confirmed here that he does indeed hail from the future and that’s somehow given him knowledge of who Savitar really is. That may play into fan theories that the self-proclaimed God of Speed doesn’t actually hail from the past or present and that he may actually be a transformed Barry Allen.
We’ll obviously have to wait and see if that proves to be the case, but here’s the synopsis for this episode of The Flash, which is appropriately titled “Abra Kadabra.

We’ve already seen one batch of official images from the next episode of The Flash, but The CW has now released six additional photos focusing on Gorilla Grodd and Solovar. The former has made several appearances in the series to date, but this looks set to be his most significant appearance yet, hence why the network is pulling out all the stops to promote it.
Set to take place over two weeks, the event promises to be one of the biggest stories the show has ever told, and it’s clear that a lot of money has been spent here to bring these fully CG characters to life. The opening chapter will take place on Earth-2, but it’s thought that the community of intelligent gorillas will then attempt to invade Earth-1’s Central City.

After taking a break in observance of Valentine’s Day, The Flash looks to come back strong next week as it continues to embrace its comic book heritage with the two-part “Gorilla City” event.
So far, the series has delighted viewers with incredible interpretations of villains such as the Reverse Flash, Zoom and Captain Cold, but when more fantastical baddies like Gorilla Grodd or King Shark are brought to life via CGI, many a fanboy have had reason to cheer. Personally, I think that some things that originate on the page don’t work as well in live-action, but the execution has been pretty good to this point, so I can’t really complain much.
With less than a week to go until “Gorilla City” officially commences, the network has released a cool new poster, something they’re no stranger to doing when promoting the more significant episodes of each DC series to be aired.

At the end of this week’s episode of The Flash, Jesse Quick made a surprise appearance to ask Kid-Flash for help due to the fact that Gorilla Grodd had kidnapped her father – Earth-2’s Harrison Wells – and taken him back to Gorilla City. We can’t say for sure yet how that will play out, but based on the images in the gallery above, the rescue mission doesn’t exactly go as planned.
Barry, Cisco, Caitlin, and Julian all end up behind bars alongside Harry, and chances are that’s because Grodd’s psychic powers have only increased since the last time we saw him. In an interesting twist though, the synopsis for this particular episode of The Flash reveals that the gorilla actually wants Team Flash’s help to stop the ruler of Gorilla City from attacking Earth-1.

Gorilla Grodd has always been one of the most enjoyable recurring villains in The Flash, and as the show’s budget has increased, so too has the amount of screen time that the CGI bad guy receives. When the series returns in a fortnight from now, the character will be taking centre stage in a two-part event that The CW’s billing as “Gorilla City.”
While it appears as if Grodd will indeed clash with the Fastest Man Alive (putting him and the team behind bars), the psychic gorilla actually wants his help to stop Earth-1 from being invaded by the intelligent community of his kind, which is based on Earth-2, the home of Harrison “Harry” Wells and his speedster daughter, Jesse Quick.

Ahead of next week’s midseason premiere of The Flash, The CW has released a new clip from the episode. As you can see, it starts with the team celebrating Wally West’s successful takedown of the villainous Plunder, but Barry Allen doesn’t seem too pleased with his sidekick’s actions.
That’s because when he made his first trip to the future and witnessed the murder of Iris West at the hands of Savitar, he also saw a news report about Plunder’s trial. Determined to prove he can change the future, the fact that Plunder is now in Iron Heights may well disprove that theory, and that’s potentially bad news for the Scarlet Speedster’s one true love.

Aside from having the opportunity to join Batman in a sure to be epic comic book team-up this spring, the immediate future for The Flash looks to be every bit as intense as it is exciting. Thanks to this newly released extended promo, counting down the seven remaining days until the midseason premiere, “Borrowing Problems from the Future,” just got even harder.
While we await the return of Rick Cosnett, we’ll turn out attention to Barry Allen attempting to avert the brutal murder of his beloved Iris West at the hands of Savitar that’s set to occur several months in the future. I think Barry’s obsession with changing the past has now been eclipsed by his desire to shape the future, which may very well be the moral of season 3. In other words, so many of us may focus on our past, which we have no ability to change,...

When we last saw the Fastest Man Alive in The Flash, he had vowed to save Iris West’s life after an accidental trip forward in time led to him witnessing the murder of his girlfriend at the hands of Savitar. However, what you may not have noticed is the fact that a news report was playing in the background about a villain called Plunder being sentenced to prison.
It also revealed that he was caught by the Flash, so when he appears in Central City in the midseason premiere, Barry Allen has second thoughts about stopping him in the hope of proving that the future can be changed. A bad guy like that can’t be left to run rampant, though, hence why Wally West’s Kid-Flash is going to have to step up in his place to take him down.

Despite being forced to take a week off due to Election Day in the United States, The Flash shows no signs of slowing down when it returns in two weeks as evidenced by this newly released extended trailer. If the episode itself is even half as intriguing as this footage, it should prove to be well worth the wait.
It goes without saying that all eyes have been affixed to Wally West this season, especially after we got teased with his Kid Flash persona on the “Flashpoint” episode. We can only hope that these vivid dreams he will have lead to him donning the red and yellow in this particular timeline sooner rather than later. And considering that Dr. Alchemy looks to be heavily involved in the next installment, that may be a real possibility because he has somehow been restoring powers to those who possessed them in the world of “Flashpoint.

In the Flashpoint timeline, Wally West was Kid-Flash. However, ever since Barry Allen set things right, he’s gone back to simply wishing he has superpowers. Well, in next week’s episode of The Flash, the youngster may be about to get his wish, but it looks like it will be thanks to the villainous Dr. Alchemy based on the images above.
The mysterious big bad of season 3 somehow has the power to restore the abilities and memories of those who were metahumans in Flashpoint, but he and The Rival were actually responsible for mortally wounding Wally, so whether or not he’ll be willing to help him become a speedster is hard to say. In fact, it appears as if Wally is going to help the Ccpd and his father capture Alchemy, though with The Flash nowhere to be seen during that confrontation, it may be a mistake.

The CW has released a first look at next week's episode of The Flash, and as you can see, it appears as if Wally West's transformation into Kid-Flash will be taking centre stage here. Whether or not it will actually happen isn't made clear here, though it definitely appears as if the youngster is cracking up after having flashbacks to his time as a speedster in the Flashpoint timeline (good going, Barry). What did you think of tonight's episode of The Flash? Are you hoping Wally becomes Kid-Flash next week? As always, be sure to weigh in with your thoughts on all that and more in the usual place. In the season 3 premiere of The Flash, the Flashpoint timeline introduced us to Kid Flash. However, after Wally West was mortally wounded by The Rival, Barry Allen raced back in time and (mostly) set things right. As a result, Wally no longer has powers, something he’s struggled to accept despite not knowing about his alternate life.
That may all be about to change though as this newly released synopsis for the upcoming sixth episode reveals that the youngster starts having flashbacks to his time as Kid Flash. Others who have suffered the same thing wound up tracking down the villainous Dr. Alchemy, shedding (literally) their skin, and regaining their memories and powers. Will Wally be next? It certainly sounds like things are heading in that direction after this particular episode of The Flash (titled “Shade”).

In last night’s episode of The Flash, we learned just how much of an impact Barry Allen’s trip back in time has had on the lives of his family and friends. Caitlin Snow has developed Killer Frost’s powers, Cisco’s brother was killed by a drunk driver, and over in Arrow, Diggle’s baby daughter Sara is now his little boy John Diggle Jr. (who became Green Arrow in Legends of Tomorrow).
A new villain has also made his presence felt in Central City in the form of Dr. Alchemy, so it’s lucky for Barry that Earth-2’s Harrison Wells will return alongside his daughter Jesse in next week’s instalment. The fact that the latter is now a speedster will come as a big help, but the Fastest Man Alive is first going to have to deal with the powerful Magenta.

Season 2 of The Flash ended with Harrison Wells and his daughter Jesse returning home to Earth-2. Inevitably, fans were left wondering when the beloved characters might return, especially after Barry Allen decided to race back in time to change history. Thankfully, we now know the answer to that question, and it turns out we’ll only have to wait until the third episode.
What brings him and his daughter to Earth-1? Well, after being hit by the second particle accelerator blast which restored The Flash’s powers, it turns out that Jesse has indeed become a speedster (which may not be all that surprising to comic book fans considering the fact she’s known as Jesse Quick in the source material). For more information, here’s the official synopsis for “Magenta.”

There are only two episodes left in The Flash‘s second season, and based on the new trailer above, it seems like Zoom’s plan to take over Central City is going to succeed (especially as he has an entire army of Earth-2 meta-humans backing him up). Standing in his way though is the Scarlet Speedster, who is clearly more confident now that he knows the Speed Force is on his side.
However, could that newfound optimism backfire on the hero? After all, from what we can tell, his friends and family certainly don’t seem to have the same amount of faith in the mysterious source of his powers.
For more details on what to expect from this instalment of The Flash, check out the episode synopsis below:

The CW has released the first images from next week’s instalment of The Flash, and it looks like Black Siren will be making her presence felt in a big way here. Played by Arrow alum Katie Cassidy, this villainous meta-human is one of Zoom’s closest allies and the Earth-2 doppelgänger of the recently departed Laurel Lance/Black Canary.

Following up on a highly emotional, pivotal episode directed by the one and only Kevin Smith, The Flash looks to crank things up to “11” in this season’s penultimate episode, which is set to air next week.
Now, I would normally say that a fine show such as this isn’t resting on its laurels, but “Invincible” will see the debut of the much talked about Earth-2 doppelganger of Laurel Lance (see what I did there?), also known as Black Siren. The kicker is that actress Katie Cassidy gets to see how the other half lives by inhabiting the role of a villain. That’s right, it’s likely time to cast aside theories that this incarnation of Laurel will join Team Arrow, for she is the one leading Zoom’s army of metahumans.
Personally, I think we should keep an eye on Wally West, who is said to get in on the action.

The month of May is nearly upon us, and that means it’s time to gear up for the final episodes of our favorite TV shows. Thanks to The CW, we have two official descriptions that allow us to peer into the future of some of the hottest superhero series around: The Flash and Arrow.
On May 17, the penultimate episode of The Flash’s second season, titled “Invincible,” will hit airwaves and it sounds like it will have no shortage of excitement. Expect to see Katie Cassidy play the much talked about Earth-2 doppelganger of Black Canary, who has adopted the moniker of “Black Siren.” It sounds like she will be more villainous than expected, so those of us who have theorized that she will one day crossover to Arrow to join their team may have to toss that bit of speculation out the window.

Despite the fact that it’s already been confirmed that Zoom is really Hunter Zolomon in The Flash, it’s hard to escape the feeling that there’s still more to his story than meets the eye, especially as he pretended to be The Flash on Earth-2 and has a mysterious masked figure locked up in his lair with a metal mask over their face.

Barry Is Ready To Face Zoom; Hunter Zoloman’S Story Is Revealed Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry (Grant Gustin) believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zoloman’s (Teddy Sears) painful story on Earth-2 is revealed. Stefan Pleszcynski directed the episode from a script written by Joe Peracchio and David Kob. Seems a bit silly that after everything that's occurred between the two, Barry would put his faith in something he acquires from Reverse-Flash as the means to a victory over Zoom. What are the odds that the tachyon device malfunctions or secretly siphons off Barry's speed and sends it to Eobard? We'll find out for sure...

The CW has released a brand new trailer for upcoming episodes of The Flash, and it’s packed full of intriguing and revealing new scenes. For starters, we have to talk about the shot of Zoom unmasking before Barry Allen; the villain’s identity has been a talking point for months now, and it appears as if his face will be revealed as soon as next Tuesday.
We also see what appears to be a suited up Jesse Quick (the daughter of Harrison Wells) and the return of King Shark as Arrow‘s Diggle comes to Central City for an unexpected team-up with The Flash. As a bonus, we also get to see loads of the Earth-2 Barry Allen, a character set to take on a much later role in next week’s “Escape From Earth-2.”
