Laura LaMonaco, also known as Laurie, is a multifaceted individual who has made a name for herself in various creative and entrepreneurial pursuits. An American actress born in New Jersey, Laurie began her acting journey on stage with the Country Gate Players, a community theater in Belvidere, NJ. Her early theatrical training at the Performing Arts Academy, under the guidance of the late Carol Scurato, was pivotal in shaping her acting career. Laurie is the eldest daughter of Donna LaMonaco and the late Philip LaMonaco, a New Jersey state trooper who was tragically killed in the line of duty. A significant moment in her life came when her family traveled to Toronto to film a "Top Cops" episode about her father, where Laurie found her calling in the entertainment industry.
Laurie's career trajectory took her from acting to producing, beginning with a TV show at a Public Access channel in Northern California. Even as she produced, Laurie continued to act both on stage and screen, earning membership in SAG-AFTRA. Her current projects include multiple auditions and roles slated for 2024 and 2025. Laurie is also working on her second children's book.
