Akshay Kumar is on a roll with his projects! The star is awaiting the release of his highly anticipated movie, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. But there is more good news for Khiladi Kumar in the box office. He reportedly joins the star-studded cast of Vishnu Manchu’s passion project, Kannappa. It is a cinematic ode to the Tamil saint Bhakta Kannappa, a devout follower of Lord Shiva. The highly anticipated film stars three superstars from the South: Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Shiva Rajkumar.
This would be Akshay’s third South-language film. He first appeared in a bi-lingual 1997 Film, Ashanti. Then, he worked with Rajnikanth in Shankar’s 2.0, the Robot sequel.
Kannappa is actor-producer Manchu Vishnu’s ambitious project, currently being produced at Rfc in Hyderabad. Mukesh Kumar Singh is directing this highly anticipated mythical epic.
