If it were up to us, "Project Runway" would never be "out," it would just play on a loop 24/7/365.
Sadly, Season 14 will say auf wiedersehen on Thursday, November 5th, so now seems like a good time to take stock and rank the previous 13 seasons, with the expectation that the 2015 season will probably fall somewhere in the middle of the pack once it's done. (Tim Gunn "hated" Season 14, but there have been worse.) Every season of PR is a precious, unique little rhinestone, but, like the judges, we have our favorites -- and now it's Our turn to be biased.
So here's our very subjective but still definitive worst-to-best ranking, which may only be challenged by a glare from Nina Garcia, an eye roll from Michael Kors, a "make it work" from Tim Gunn, or an "out" from Heidi Klum.
13. Season 11 (aka 'Teams')Maybe it seemed like a good, or at least dramatic,...

Seth Aaron Henderson's "Project Runway" finale collection was bold, but he didn't really expect it to cause controversy, much less make people think he sympathized with Nazis.
The designer's final collection was inspired by Russian and German military uniforms of the 1940s, which many Zap2it readers found offensive, identifying those uniforms with the horrifying historical events that occurred in Europe at the time.
"I have absolutely no love for that party whatsoever," he reassured Zap2it Friday (April 23). "But through my life here, I've met tons of people, Germans that lived through it and they've shared their stories. They said it was horrible times. The point is a statement is what I drew from it. So their points were they were terrible people, but you knew when they were there. Even though they're gone and it's over, they're still there."

Emilio Sosa and Seth Aaron Henderson were the last two designers standing, but it's Henderson who can now add "Project Runway" winner to his resume (and $100,000 to his bank account).
(Congrats to the 73% of you who guessed right in our poll!)
Judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Faith Hill loved Henderson's 1940s German and Soviet military-inspired collection.
"You accomplished your goal of amping up your sophistication and elegance," Klum told Henderson. "You certainly do know how to put on a show."
Garcia said Henderson is "fearless" while Kors called the collection "exhilarating and powerful."
Henderson definitely showed us he's thrilled to be the "Project Runway" champion. Upon being crowned the winner, he 38-year-old designer jumped up and down in excitement and then brought his kids out on stage, pointing out to them how hard work pays off.
Now it's off to the big leagues.

The seventh season of "Project Runway" is coming to a close, but who should win?
Mila Hermanovski, Emilio Sosa and Seth Aaron Henderson will send their models out for Part 2 of the finale, airing Thursday, April 22 at 10 p.m. Et/Pt.
If we're judging solely on personality, Seth Aaron should lead. This isn't to say that he's not without skill. He has a definite point of view, has been praised for his work and even has two wins to his name. It would appear that editing is his biggest challenge, so we're hoping he takes Tim Gunn's advice and presents something smart but still signature Seth Aaron for the finale.
Emilio has racked up the most wins by far and claims the last three in a row, so he's been getting consistently better. He may not win any friends with that attitude, but it hasn't hurt him in the competition.

If you ever wondered what life was like after winning "Project Runway," it apparently looks pretty much the same - at least for Season 4 winner Christian Siriano.
In "Christian Siriano: Having a Moment," the designer takes us through the prep for New York Fashion Week complete with last minute challenges, celebrity fittings and, yes, Tim Gunn was there, too. Besides the fact that it aired on Bravo (meow), it felt like watching another episode of the reality show competition.
Nevertheless, Siriano has the kind of personality that makes him totally watchable and he indeed delivered several moments of beeotchiness that made our night.
Here are our top 10 moments had with Christian Siriano:
1.) Ryan Seacrest? Take a message: Within the first five minutes, Siriano dissed a phone call from "someone from Ryan Seacrest." That made us chuckle. The "American Idol" host and crowned ruler of E! can leave a message.

Maya Luz shocked her fellow designers on "Project Runway" when she withdrew from the competition on Thursday night's (April 2) episode.
The 22-year-old designer from Santa Fe, New Mexico bowed out shortly after the challenge, designing a red carpet gown for host Heidi Klum, was announced.
At the time, Luz had said she didn't feel she was ready for Bryant Park. Her exit allowed previously eliminated contestant Anthony L. Williams to return.
Zap2it spoke with Luz on a conference call Friday to get more info on her decision, the reaction to her leaving and her life post-"Runway."
Before launching into that, let's check out what she had to say in her video diary:
The interview with Maya Luz ...
Did your decision to leave have anything to do with the challenge, designing a red carpet dress for Heidi Klum?
Maya Luz: No, not particularly ... It happened to have landed on that challenge.

Jonathan Peters has taken a beating from the judges during this season of Project Runway, and it all came to a head in last night episode after tart harangues from Michael Kors, Nina Garcia, and Heidi Klum, who was supposed to wear the winning garment to a red-carpet event. Now that he's been eliminated, the 29-year-old Rhode Islander opens up to Movieline about the judges' misinformed ideas, Tim Gunn's role, and how he felt when Maya Luz auf'd herself.

Last night's episode of Project Runway featured a jarring triad of events: an elimination, the return of an evicted contestant, and a baffling exit from 22-year-old Santa Fe designer Maya Luz. The young, über-banged talent claimed she wasn't ready for Bryant Park's big stage, and opted to leave the competition prior to beginning this week's challenge. Now that she's had time to mull over the ramifications of her exit, Movieline caught up with Maya to discuss her reasons for leaving, her ambitions, and unfair criticisms from the judges.

Maya Luz has chosen to leave the seventh season of Project Runway. The 22-year-old freelance designer from Santa Fe, Nm, made the announcement during last night's episode of the Lifetime competition. She entered the work room with Tim Gunn, who told the other five designers that Luz had something important to tell them. "I've decided to leave the competition. I feel like I'm not really ready to go all the way yet," she explained. "At the beginning I thought I had what it took, and I do think I have great ideas, but I just got out of school (more)...

Spoiler Alert! If you have yet to watch tonight's episode of Project Runway, do not read any further. You will find nothing but spoilers ahead. And that will likely make you mad. Project Runway’s Maya Luz had an excellent shot at making the Bryant Park top three. This season’s most consistent designer, she earned high scores six times and never landed in the bottom. But as we all witnessed on tonight’s episode, the 22-year-old New Yorker opted to leave Runway altogether. EW was the first to speak to Maya about her controversial choice. In fact, we spoke...

Spotted! Maya from Project Runway at a NYC-area bar, one week before Fashion Week show. Hmmm, what are you doing here, Maya??
Is Maya Luz a Project Runway finalist? That’s what we want to know after a spy spotted her near NYC, days before the big show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on Friday Feb. 12.
Our spy saw her with a girlfriend on Fri. Feb 5, having a drink at a restaurant in Fairfield, Ct — a suburb of NYC. She was carrying her own “ball and chain” evening bag, in black. Way to promote your own goods, Maya!
She politely refused to spill any beans, but we’ve noticed that she’s already pulling out as a front-runner — she has been in the top three contestants for the past two episodes. We are loving her Vivienne Westwood-meets-Dior vibe!
Can’t wait to hear who made it to the final three!

Let me begin by saying how honored I am to be the official Ruwway recapper this season here at AfterElton.com. A few years ago (during the Kenley's reign of terror, I think) a group of friends started gathering with my partner, Craig, and I, and our housemate, Dan, at what I’ve come to call The Party Pad in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
In these recaps, I'll share with you not only “what happened” on each episode, but also the opinions and off-the-cuff comments of our viewing party viewers — mostly all gay men, but occasionally we have a straight couple who joins us. Without further rambling, here we go!
Tonight’s Players include: Jason, a pharmacology writer and photographer, Dan (the housemate), an actor and now playwright (look for his first play, Daddy, to premiere in NYC later this month), Nick & Adam, an actor and his marketing manager partner, Andrew...
