You may remember Michaele Salahi -- then again, you may not, so here's a refresher.
She and her then-husband Tareq are the infamous White House party crashers from several years ago. She was also a "Real Housewives of D.C." cast member, though that iteration of the "Real Housewives" franchise was only on for a couple months back in 2010.
Salahi came popping back up into the public eye in 2011 when she "went missing," but was discovered to have run off with Journey guitarist Neal Schon. Salahi and Schon became engaged in 2012 and now have declared their desire to be married on TV.
Salahi tells Omg! that several networks have approached the couple. "We talk about it a lot," she says. "And while the offers are tempting, we think it's best to protect our love from reality TV."
Hmm. Or -- no one has offered enough money yet.

Get ready, wedding crashers! Michaele Salahi, who gained notoriety in 2009 for crashing a White House state dinner, may not have known, but her boyfriend Neal Schon, is likely close to popping the question.
“He’s having a 11.42 carat diamond ring shipped to Florida that will then be delivered to him by armored car Friday morning,” a friend of Neal tells me. “Michaele has no idea yet, but he’s confident she will say yes.”
Michaele and her ex-husband, Tareq Salahi, signed a confidential divorce settlement in August after she left her husband for Neal. Tareq filed a $50 million personal injury suit against his ex and her new boyfriend that has since been dismissed.
“I’ve known Michaele for more than 15 years, having met her in the 1990s,” Schon told me a few months ago. “But nothing romantic ever happened between us, even though I secretly wanted it to, until she left her husband.

When reality stars sing, the results can be totally inoffensive (Brooke Hogan’s career) or surprisingly decent (Paris Hilton’s “Stars Are Blind” — Seriously, it’s like a watered-down “Underneath It All”! In a good way!). More often, though, their songs are auto-tuned nightmares and tone-deaf raps, music that makes you yearn for a sweet shot of Adele to take the pain away. In that vein, I offer up Teen Mom Farrah Abraham’s new single. Is it the worst piece of “music” in recorded history? It’s possible — though Abraham’s got some serious competition from other misguided reality crooners.

Erstwhile White House State Dinner crasher and "Real Housewives of D.C." star Michaele Salahi was on hand Wednesday (June 6) for the Cmt Awards in Nashville with boyfriend Neal Schon.
Schon is the bassist for Journey, one of the evening's featured bands. He and Salahi began dating in September 2011. The world found out, along with Michaele's husband Tareq Salahi, when the couple -- who had dated years before -- basically ran away together just 10 days after running into each other at a Virginia concert.
"I'm very happy, very happy after waiting for her for 15 years," Schon told The Daily Beast at the time. "Now I want to get beyond all this media hype that Tareq has put out there. It's really quite embarrassing."
In April, a judge dismissed a $50 million lawsuit brought against the couple by Tareq Salahi, who alleged he was embarrassed in the process of Michaele's transition from one relationship to the other.

Tareq Salahi, the man who entered the public spotlight by crashing a 2009 White House state dinner with now-estranged wife Michaele Salahi, has announced his candidacy for the Virginia governor's seat.
In an official declaration of his candidacy -- posted by TMZ (Pdf) on Wednesday (April 25) -- Salahi identifies himself as a Republican.
"As a Virginia native for the last 42 years, I am troubled to see how our current political figure heads continue to waste tax payer dollars during these difficult economic times!" Salahi said in a statement. "I'm a big believer in limited government, keeping taxes, regulation and litigation low."
Interesting considering Salahi's spotty financial records and history of litigation with his own parents -- who sued him in 2009, claiming that he had misdirected funds from the company's winery.
One positive to a possible Salahi governorship: More Lohan in Virginia. Salahi was comforted by pal Michael Lohan when Michaele left...

Richmond, Va. -- Virginia's attorney general went after White House party crasher Tareq Salahi for a second time on Monday, this time claiming Salahi cheated customers who purchased wine tours from his companies in northern Virginia.
Ken Cuccinelli filed the lawsuit in Fauquier County Circuit Court. It comes two months after the attorney general reached a settlement with Salahi and his Journey for the Cure Foundation over accusations the nonprofit made false statements, submitted inaccurate financial statements and solicited donations without being registered with the state.
Salahi and his wife, Michaele, gained notoriety in 2009 when they crashed a White House state dinner and were able to meet President Barack Obama.
The lawsuit filed Monday accuses Salahi and his Virginia Wine Tourism Inc. and Celebration Entertainment Productions LLC of not delivering tours as promised, not providing refunds for tours they canceled and misrepresenting reputable businesses as "official partners."

Former D.C. Housewife Michaele Salahi and her boyfriend, Journey guitarist Neal Schon, are celebrating the fact that a Virginia judge has dismissed a $50 million claim against them. Michaele's soon-to be ex-husband, Tareq Salahi, filed the lawsuit, which alleged that Michaele left him for Neal and embarrassed him in the process.
“Oh my gosh, it's just a great sense of relief,” Michaele tells me, speaking for the first time since the judge's decision. “Faith really carried us through it, and our love, so when the judge first said it was dismissed, my first reaction in the courtroom was just it's so sad it came to this, but then there is such great relief. It’s healthy for him to move forward. I’m happier than ever, I'm not coming back and he just needs to be at peace with that and move forward with his life and let me go.
