General Hospital is going full steam ahead with the surrogate storyline for the Davis girls.
And while it may be fictional to those of us watching, the storyline hits home for Kate Mansi, who was chosen when Kristina was recast.
Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Tj (Tajh Bellow) wanted to have a baby, but unfortunately, due to Endometriosis, Molly was unable to get pregnant and carry the baby.
And after one surrogate fell pregnant and suffered a miscarriage, Kristina offered to carry her niece/nephew.
After a recent show featuring Kristina and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) spending time together, viewers wondered whether Kate Mansi was pregnant in real life, too.
So, are both Kristina and her portrayer, Kate Mansi, pregnant?
Kate Mansi opens up about Endometriosis
Last month, Kate Mansi was honest about her personal journey to motherhood.
March was Endometriosis Awareness Month, and Kate kicked it off with a vulnerable post.

General Hospital spoilers for next week’s episodes of the ABC soap tease there’s plenty of explaining to do.
Jason’s (Steve Burton) arrival in Port Charles has everyone confused — most of all Sam (Kelly Monaco), who can’t understand why he didn’t find his way back home — until now.
Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) life hangs in the balance, and Jason’s part in what happened is being questioned.
The little information viewers learned about Jason’s connection to John “Jagger” Cates had viewers’ jaws on the floor, but the mission he is supposed to complete remains unclear.
As much of the show focuses on Jason’s return, more information will slowly emerge. Being held at Quantico is a big deal, and something tells us there will be more twists and turns as this storyline unfolds.

This week on “General Hospital,” change is coming to Port Charles, starting with the debut of Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva Larue), Blaze’s conservative mother, who doesn’t take too kindly to learning of her daughter’s choices in bed partners, particularly the same-sex variety. It’s also a time for revelations, plans for the future and a means to an end with confessions made, peace to be had, and danger lurking as all the twisty goodness from the 90s begins to to resurface. It will be a March to remember as promises made are promises kept!

After more than 25 years away, actress Rena Sofer returned to “General Hospital” in October 2023 as Lois Cerullo, but it looks like her time as a contract player in Port Charles has concluded. According to a recent update to the show’s credits, Sofer appears in the recurring section following perennial list leader James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine).
Although Sofer is now on recurring status, there is no official indication that she’s about to exit the series anytime soon, despite saying in a Soap Opera Digest interview that she agreed to return for a short period of time after getting a text message from the show’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, who had reached out to see if she’d be interested in reprising the role of Lois so that her character might help Ned (Wally Kurth) with regaining his memory after thinking he was Eddie Maine again.

General Hospital spoilers for next week’s episodes of the ABC soap tease February sweeps go out with a bang.
The primary focus has been on who is after Sonny (Maurice Benard).
Everything is falling into place where Nina (Cynthia Watros) is concerned, and it’s driving Drew (Cameron Mathison) bananas. It has caused some tension between him and Carly (Laura Wright).
Pushing Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) together to reunite Spixie seems to be where things are going. They even brought back some very mediocre karaoke for the occasion. And there have also been hints about a possible rekindling of the heat between Sonny and Ava (Maura West).
As the police work to find the shooter after Sonny and Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) wedding draws near, expect more chaos in Port Charles.
Here’s what to expect next week on General Hospital.

Debuting on the Monday, February 26 episode of “General Hospital,” where she’ll portray the newly created character, Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, actress Eva Larue is no stranger to daytime television, nor is she an unfamiliar face in the halls of the Prospect Studios where the daytime drama tapes in Hollywood.
In a recent interview with former Soap Opera Digest editor-in-chief Stephanie Sloane for TV Insider, Larue talks about her return to daytime after previously portraying Dr. Maria Santos Grey on “All My Children” and Celeste Rosales on “The Young and the Restless,” where she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performer, getting to see some of her former Pine Valley co-stars, and what it’s like working alongside people she’s known for years but had yet to share scenes with on-screen, until now.

General Hospital has lost its way, and adding cast members with little to no significance to the current cast has been par for the course.
The cast is so bloated, yet many longtime fan favorites have been on the back burner for so long that what was simmering is probably stuck to the pot.
Over the years, the show has morphed from the hospital drama to being more focused on the mob scene, run by none other than Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Whether viewers want to admit it or not, he has become the face of the show. He is on nearly every day and often is the center of focus for several big storylines on the daytime drama.
However, some of us remember the days of great storylines that happened at the hospital. The nursing staff has dwindled, and the doctors are few and far between these days.

The CW is still keen on a Jane The Virgin spin-off despite not picking up Jane The Novela and is in talks with creator/exec producer Jennie Snyder Urman to develop another take.
Jane the Novela, from the creative team of Jane the Virgin, was written by Jane scribe Valentina Garza and directed by Brad Silberling. It was not a traditional spin-off but was a soapy, telenovela-inspired anthology series in the tradition of Jane the Virgin, where each season is based on a different fictional novel “written by” Jane Villanueva and narrated by the author herself. Jane the Virgin creator/exec producer Jennie Snyder Urman, star Gina Rodriguez, and exec producers Ben Silverman also executive produced.
The CW president Mark Pedowitz said, “We are big fans of Jennie Urman and Gina and we had great appreciation of what they did. In this particular situation, this spin-off didn’t quite get...

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Wednesday’s Season 5 premiere of “Jane the Virgin”)
“Jane the Virgin” fans finally learned exactly what happened to Michael (Brett Dier) on Wednesday’s premiere of the CW telenovela’s fifth and final season. And that meant finding out that Michael isn’t Michael anymore, but Jason: a slow-talking Montana man who doesn’t remember his lovely widow — err, wife, Jane (Gina Rodriguez).
TheWrap spoke with Dier about returning to the Jennie Snyder Urman-created drama for that big twist and how he created this new character for the show’s final batch of episodes.
“The accent was important,” the actor, who was killed off “Jane the Virgin” in Season 3, said. (Except now we know Rose actually faked the whole thing and had Michael electroshocked into forgetting who he was and dropped in the middle of the Pacific Northwest so no one would find him.

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Wednesday’s Season 5 premiere of “Jane the Virgin.”)
Friends, we are happy to say that Wednesday’s premiere of the fifth and final season of “Jane the Virgin” revealed that yes, that is Michael Cordero Jr. (Brett Dier) who was standing in front of Jane (Gina Rodriguez) at the end of the Season 4 finale last spring.
What we aren’t happy to say is that, while he’s definitely Michael and he’s definitely not dead, he also definitely thinks he’s Jason: a man from Montana with a strange accent who doesn’t remember Jane at all because he has amnesia.
Yes, we know! It was a lot to take, both for you and the now-possibly-un-widowed Jane, of course.

Jane the Virgin may be wrapping up its story in a neat little bow by the end of the year, but at least there's a spinoff in the works.
Thankfully, a familiar face from the regular series is attached to co-star on the potential new series titled Jane the Novella.
Deadline has revealed that Ivonne Coll, who plays Jane's grandma, Alba, on the soapy CW drama will take on the role of a brand new character on the spinoff.
Her character will be called Camila, the adoptive mother of Estela, the character the new show will revolve around for its first season if it gets a series order.
