- Mohammed Mamdouh was born in 1989 in Egypt and raised in the UAE. He studied Mass Communication and minored in Film at the American University of Sharjah.
Mamdouh has Written and Directed 10 short films, several TV commercials and a web series. He has won several awards including a Special Jury Prize at Abu Dhabi International Film Festival's Emirates Film Competition and The Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity. He then earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Film from the Vermont College of Fine Arts in the United States and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a Minor in Film from the American University Of Sharjah. He has been a professor at the American University of Sharjah as well as an established writer and film director with over a decade of experience in film-making that bridges Hollywood and the local film industry. Mamdouh has won numerous awards locally and his work has been selected in film festivals and summits across the globe including the Los Angeles Screenplay Awards, Madrid International Film Festival along with festivals in Brazil, France and Germany Since 2006, he has written and directed countless short films and commercials that have been shown in cinemas, on tv and online to millions of world wide viewers.
