Andrea Canepari

Andrea Canepari is an Italian director.
He works as a director for the RAI Fiction television series Il paradiso delle signore (2015) . At the beginning, his body of work consisted of documentaries and short films - Crapa Pansa (2003) and Lost in Montanaro (2007) - who have won a lot of awards in independent film festivals.
Upon his graduation in Design at Politecnico University of Milan he shoots his first movie Noi siam nati chissà quando chissà dove (2005) co-directed by Francesco Barbieri that won "Avanti" award at Torino Film Festival.
He directed the reportage Palestina.Homeless (2011) - co-directed by Guendalina Di Marco and Davide Neglia - and the short documentary "Friendly you came, friendly you go" shot in India. His last work is "Bisu Ndoto", a project consisting of a documentary and a stop-motion movies, shot in Kibera , the biggest slam of Nairobi.
Between 2015-2017 he has shot the feature film Il tempo lungo (2019) which celebrates the fortieth anniversary of "Novecento" by Bernardo Bertolucci.
