Shamit Mahbub Shahabuddin

Shamit Mahbub Shahabuddin hails from Chittagong, a coastal town of
Bangladesh. His father Late Abu M. Shahbuddin was an actor, poet and a
musician. He was also actively involved in the political scene during
the oppression of Pakistan in Bangladesh. Born to liberal Muslim
parents, Shamit was groomed to work in the creative field. With that
search in mind he started his professional career in advertising in
1997. Currently he runs his own advertising agency called "All That N
More" and also works as a freelance Screenplay, Executive Producer and
actor. He has worked in several TV dramas and a awaiting release
feature film. He wrote the screenplay for the Bengali Film "Hello Amit"
and worked as the Executive Producer. Currently he is working as
Executive Producer in a India Bangladesh Co produced film" The Line".
Shamit is married to Dr Afreen Nur Chowdhury and has two daughters
named Ronon and Loy.
