Erin Enberg is a Screenwriter and Director from a little woodsy town in Maine where many Stephen King stories take place. Her New England roots permeate her writing and films through setting and character, with protagonists who often have to make decisions about leaving rural life to find more opportunities in the city, just as she has. Erin's stories also seek to empower women and non-binary characters.
Erin has worked in production in Maine, New York City and Los Angeles, striving for a bi-coastal lifestyle. She has experience in various crew roles for AMC, NBC, HBO, MTV, Travel Channel and more, and once traveled around the country for three months on a renovated city bus assisting Emmy-winning cinematographer Chris Teague (Russian Doll). Erin's short films have won various awards including Audience Favorite and multiple Best Short Film awards including her short "The Poet" which was awarded by Cinematographer John Seale (Mad Max Fury Road) at the Noosa International Film Fest in Queensland, Australia.
Erin's scripts have been finalists at Final Draft, Cinestory, Stowe Story Labs and made Second Round at Sundance. She was commissioned to direct a PSA to get out the youth vote by Nextgen America, and in 2021 was the recipient of a scholarship from Sundance Collab to attend their 9-week directing course. She has also worked at HBO Max in Original Content and Warner Bros in Creative Advertising. In 2023, Erin was chosen as one of 10 directors for Blackmagic Collective's "Emerging Filmmaker Initiative."
