Onetime Disney Channel starlet Bella Thorne says that she was nearly made to bow out of Shake It Up!, due to a choice in beachwear.
As a recent guest on the High Low With EmRata podcast, Thorne recounted instances of being sexualized as a preteen and teen, including an instance where, at age 10, she said a casting agent reported back to her mom, “she’s not moving forward because the director felt like she was flirting with him, and it made him really uncomfortable.”

Almost 40% of people experiencing homelessness in the United States are under 181. One item they commonly request in homeless shelters is a pair of jeans. Why? Jeans are comfortable in any season and can be worn multiple times between washes. Plus, for a teenager without many belongings, wearing a pair of jeans can provide a sense of security.
That’s why DoSomething.org, the largest organization for young people and social change, and Aéropostale, the specialty retailer of casual fashion apparel and accessories, have teamed up for the ninth time on their marquee Teens for Jeans campaign, which, since 2008, has activated young people to donate over 5 million pairs of jeans to local shelters serving young people, with support from celebrities like Demi Lovato, Chloe Grace Moretz, Kristen Bell, and more.

Okay, guys! It’s time to find out which young male star is better than the rest. Who do you think is the next Big Thing and deserves the title of Best Rising Male Star 2012!? The Disney Channel and Nickelodeon always seem to get it right. Many of their child actors end up making it big, but nothing’s guaranteed! Will Jake Austin from Wizards of Waverly Place be the next Star? How about Shake It Up stars Kenton Duty and Roshon Fegan? Perhaps adorable Jason Dolley from Good Luck Charlie? Or Bucket & Skinner’s lead actors, Dillon Lane & Taylor Gray?
We’ve put together a list of twenty rising male stars and are throwing a contest to determine who is the Best. The contest will be split into two rounds. Round One will feature all twenty nominees! Then, we will narrow the nominees down to the top ten, who...

Zendaya (who plays "Rocky Blue") says picking just one movie as her favorite is "really hard!" But, she came up with Two movies as her Pick: "The Princess and the Frog is one of my favorites. Shrek is also one of my favorites. Oh man, there are so many!"
Adam Irigoyen ("Deuce") says, "I gotta admit, Toy Story 3. I'm not going to lie, it was amazing...it Was Amazing! I was kinda sad at the end when they left Andy."
Kenton Duty ("Gunther") says, "Tangled was really good: It was amazing, instant classic! I love that movie; the music was really good too! Go Mandy! I also loved Toy Story: Tim and Tom are amazing guys.
