Musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and sound engineer born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, Diego Poloni works in the Brazilian and international independent music scene since late 90's, involved with projects that permeate a wide range of musical genres, from punk (Campbell trio) to electronic (Younitza), through Brazilian music (Apanhador Só) and free instrumental music (Trompa). Experienced film score composer, as of today he have worked on 26 movies, ranging from short to feature length, both fiction and documentary, as well as in special projects like composing and performing live scores for silent movies like "Orlacs Hände" (Rober Wiene, 1924) and "Limite" (Mario Peixoto, 1931). He also produced, wrote, directed and edited a short documentary entitled "Notas Sobre O Desencaixe" and an uncompleted feature length film essay called "Agora / Ágora" as well as some advertising films.
