Shai Alexander

Shai Alexander aka Alexander Tsitrin is a Russian-Australian actor.
Alexander has graduated from Screen Acting studies at the prestigious
National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 2010 while he also holds a
degree from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands since 2002.
In 2013 Alexander furthered his education in Moscow, Russia at the
Screen Academy of the legendary Academy Award winning Russian Director
and Actor Nikita Mikhalkov. He spent the following four
years working as a headhunter in the Netherlands. Working in the
high-end recruitment industry.
Three of Alexander's most recent films have been screened in film festivals in California, Australia, Russia, Germany, Mexico, Korea and India. Aussie Theatre called Alexander's portrayal of Dracula in Newtown Theatre 'intriguing and mysterious' and his performance in 'Swings &', a modern Australian adaption of Arthur Schnitzler's classic play 'La Ronde' (David Hare's adaptation is known as 'Blue Room') was described as 'exceptional'. Alexander's screen and stage presence was called bold and powerful while his strong distinct voice has captivated audiences time and again. Alexander is fluent in English, Russian, Dutch and Hebrew languages and resides in Moscow, Russia.
