Drake hosted the 2014 Espy Awards Wednesday night in Los Angeles, where he took the opportunity to roast LeBron James and Johnny Manziel – and get a dig in on fellow rapper Macklemore.
Drake Hosts The ESPYs
Drake couldn’t resist telling an early joke at King James’ expense, as the standout NBA player recently dragged out his free agency, ultimately deciding to leave Miami to return to Cleveland.
"Two years, $40 million. Now look, some people are happy about it, some people aren't happy,” Drake said during his opening monologue. “Me personally, I think it makes sense financially. You know what $40 million gets you in Miami? A really nice house. You know what $40 million gets you in Cleveland? Cleveland. All of it. You get the whole thing."

On Sunday, Brazilian driver Tony Kanaan won the Indy 500. It was Kanaan's first ever Indy 500 win, and his twelfth time racing in the event. He pulled ahead of competitor Ryan Hunter-Reay three laps before the finish, and won on a caution, Dario Franchitti crashing a lap later.
"I got a little bit of luck today," Kanaan tells USA Today. "It's for the fans. It's for my dad who's not here. But mainly for all of you guys. I was looking at the stands, and it was unbelievable.
"I want to thank everybody. I've never seen so many people from other teams [offering congratulations\. This is it, man. I made it. I'm finally going to put my name on that trophy," he continues. "We were known for not winning, now we're known for winning. I don't know what to say."...

Race-car drivers generally don't get credit for being athletes in the truest sense of the word, but their sport does have its unique demands.
Obviously, they must have superior hand-eye coordination to be able to pilot those cars around racetracks at speeds over 200 mph. They must be able to withstand the triple-digit heat that can accumulate in their vehicles as they negotiate sun-scorched Southern tracks on hot summer days. They also must be able to handle the G-forces resulting from taking turns at high speeds.
And then there's the laser-beamlike focus they must maintain for three-plus hours to keep their speeding cars on track, away from other cars and hopefully headed to victory. It's that last attribute that three-time Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves says he put to good use on the dance floor almost six years ago to win Season 5 of "Dancing With the Stars."
"I think the driving ... helped the dancing,...
