Viewers outside of New York can watch the building’s Tower Lights shine red for Gryffindor, yellow for Hufflepuff, blue for Ravenclaw and green for Slytherin on the Empire State’s live cam. For those in New York, there will be a magical pop-up cart on the 86th Floor Observation Deck where fans will be able to pick up free copies of the book and bottles of Butterbeer. “Katy Keane” star Camille Hyde and “Chicago Med’s” Ben Edlin are set to star in psychological thriller “Mindwash.”
The feature was written, directed and produced by Beatrice Brigitte (“Gotham”). It marks Brigitte’s directorial feature debut.
Producing alongside Brigitte are Nichole Galicia (“Django Unchained”) and Kazy Tauginas (“The Equalizer 2”).
“Mindwash” tells the story of motivational speaker Billy Seldom (Edlin) – slogan: “Think for Yourself” – who is about to become a global sensation when a catastrophic event hits the world. He soon spirals into self-destruction, while his co-dependent relationship with girlfriend Natalie (Hyde) also takes a hit.
“Billy tries to find his place in a world now spiraling out of control and exemplifying the lack of individual thinking,” reads the logline. “Billy must now ask himself if he really ‘thinks for himself.'”
“Mindwash” includes a soundtrack by Wynne Bennett (“Space Jam: A New Legacy”) while director of photography is...

"Living the dream, aren't we?" Gravitas Ventures has unveiled an official trailer for an indie hockey drama titled Odd Man Rush, based on the memoirs of small-time hockey player Bill Keenan. "A hockey star once on the fast-track to the NHL tells of how he overcame multiple obstacles to find fulfillment and redemption in the strange world of European minor-league professional hockey." Jack Mulhern stars in the film as Bobby Sanders, a Harvard hockey player who lands in Sweden's minor leagues. His relationship with the girl at the local market forces him to confront the reality of his childhood NHL dream before the Hockey Gods intervene. Also starring Dylan Playfair, Elektra Kilbey, Trevor Gretzky, Alexa Lemieux, and Kazy Tauginas. I like that this doesn't look like every other hockey film, about fame and success. Seems a more personal story about not reaching the NHL, and deciding life is better spent with ones you love.

Stars: Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, Melissa Leo, Orson Bean, Bill Pullman, Jonathan Scarfe, Kazy Tauginas, Garrett Golden, Sakina Jaffrey, Tamara Hickey, Karen Strong | Written by Richard Wenk | Directed by Antoine Fuqua
Denzel Washington returns as ultra-violent vigilante Robert McCall in this slick sequel that marks the actor’s fourth collaboration with director Antoine Fuqua. Handsomely made and superbly acted, the film is a stronger outing than its predecessor, smoothing over several of its rough edges.
After a fun prologue on a train to Turkey that has an in-disguise McCall violently rescuing a young girl, the plot switches to Brussels, where a suspicious double murder draws the attention of his former CIA boss Susan (Melissa Leo) and his old colleague Dave (Pedro Pascal). When Susan winds up dead, McCall finds himself targeted by a squad of gun-toting goons and sets out on a trail of bloody revenge.

It was this past summer when we last heard anything about Brian Kazmarck's sci-fi/horror thriller Terminal Legacy, but now a trailer has arrived that we're happy to share. In addition we've learned the film has a projected release date of spring 2012.
As a refresher, here's a synopsis/message from Kazmarck:
Terminal Legacy is an exciting apocalyptic sci-fi thriller about a team of three scientists whose attempt at creating the ultimate miracle drug horribly backfires. In the wake of an outbreak within their facility, they must race to prevent the remaining patients from escaping as well as dealing with their own divisive motivations.
Our film is unique among its cinematic brethren in that it's an apocalyptic/zombie movie told from the point of view of the men responsible for the "outbreak" and is told as the outbreak starts. It is not told in the aftermath, nor is it about...
