Alissa is a real-life medical professional originally from Michigan. She is a SAG member and enjoys acting, especially when it involves medical roles for TV and film. Prior to starting her medical and acting career, she worked in film production, which is when she became interested in screenwriting and story development. She hopes to continue writing scripts that emphasize medical topics, roles for women, and that evoke social change.
