In every person's environment, there are those who push for him/her to follow a specific profession in life. Some however, prefer to listen to their passion, and carve a new path in life to achieve what they love. I am one of those people, who for years have been self educating and dedicating themselves to actively strive toward their dreams and goals.
After starting as a broadcast support artist back in 1993, I landed into the business aspects while still studying engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. Though I chose not to follow that career, the lessons were invaluable. The most important of all was reverse engineering. Taking the goal or the challenge and reverse-engineer it to reach the necessities or the core respectively.
Combining art, science and problem solving I advanced through a variance of creative and administrative areas of media content creation & team management. From presentations, to TVCs, to music videos, to documentaries, to virtual reality, to dome theater, to TV series, to feature films. Tech savvy, I thirst for ways that can modernize workflow and make productivity a breeze and a joy for everyone involved.
Lately, I've been pushing toward a new and innovative platform: Virtual Production.
As a team player and a leader on international projects, I have adapted to relate and work with multiple cultures, as well as listen "between the words" and read "between the lines". Achievements and awards my teams have attained essentially mean little compared to the reality of an ever changing world: the real value lies in every human alone. Network is nothing without true relationships. Relationships of mutual respect, wider understanding and common goals.
That's the real capital of every successful organization.
After 26 years in content creation, promotions, management and deeper understanding of business vision and strategies, there's still a lot more to be done.
