Turkey, family and football. It’s a Thanksgiving trio that’s been going strong for nearly a century now. Your first thought when it comes to Thanksgiving football might be simply that the Detroit Lions play — and lose — every year, during an otherwise “meh” day of games. But your memory would be deceiving you. First off, the Lions aren’t that bad on Thanksgiving, with an all-time holiday record of 37-40-2. Not too shabby. And there have been a fair amount of noteworthy performances, controversies and bloopers on Thanksgiving — enough to even make a list of 10 memorable football moments without having to resort to including that “Friends” episode where Monica and Ross wrestle over the ball for hours.
Check out our 10 memorable moments below:

“Of course they were robbed, big-time!” user K.bell wrote. “Zendaya danced her ass off each time and was so talented. Derek and Kelli [sic] were good, but no way was she better than Zendaya. Val was right to feel the way he does because its [sic] the absolute truth.”

Following Monday’s shocking elimination of “Dancing With the Stars” fan favorite Willow Shields, viewers could rest easy on Tuesday knowing that no one would be sent home during the 10th anniversary special. Instead, the ABC dance competition celebrated contestants past and present, boasting the biggest opening number in the show’s history with almost 50 cast members, including Amber Riley, Melissa Rycroft, Kurt Warner, Lil Kim, Donald Driver, Amy Purdy and Maria Menounos. With so many former athletes being alums of the show, it was only fitting that a highlight of the hour-long special was a football-inspired paso doble set...

Well how fun was that? There were holograms. There was near-nudity. There were mullets! And, most important of all, there was dancing on Dancing with the Stars' 10th anniversary special. Of course, it was only the best that the show had to offer so there were no duds to make fun of/make us feel better about our own lackluster dancing ability, but a few were still better and/or less weird than others. Thus, without further ado, we present our ranking of all the best and worst performances! 11. In the first finale with four remaining contestants, it came down to former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler, Disney star Zendaya, Olympian Aly Raisman and the Baltimore Ravens’ Jacoby Jones. Musical performances came from rapper Pitbull, Psy and former contestant Wynonna Judd. The two-hour live results show was up 44% from last week, but it was the lowest-rated finale for DWTS ever, down 13% from the last cycle ender on November 27, 2012 and down 21% from its last spring finale May 22. The final four Dancing with the Stars contestants - Jacoby Jones, Kellie Pickler, Alexandra Raisman and Zendaya - and their pro partners have overcome injuries and potential eliminations to make it all the way to the season 16 finale. But only one couple can take home the tantalizingly close mirror-ball trophy. Pickler's strong performances throughout the season were magnified Monday night, when she and Derek Hough earned a perfect 30 score for a freestyle dance judge Carrie Ann Inaba called "one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen." Pickler later admitted "I let all of my walls down" for the fearless show-stopper.

On Tuesday night, viewers will find out who will be the "Dancing with the Stars" Season 16 champion. It really could be anyone -- Kellie Pickler, Zendaya, Aly Raisman and Jacoby Jones all have a shot at that Mirror Ball. So who will it be?
And did fans really get the chance to vote legitimately after the ABC.com voting page went down?
Who will win "DWTS" Season 16?
Usually, there is at least one finalist on "Dancing with the Stars" who can't or who shouldn't win. That's not exactly the case in Season 16. Some of the dancers are more likely than others to win, but anyone is a possibility.
Most likely to win: Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough
Throughout the whole season, Kellie and Derek have been consistently good. The pair has never had a truly bad week -- when your one misstep is Len not liking the dance, you know things are good.

Los Angeles — Four finalists are vying for the "Dancing With the Stars" title, and just one point separates the top two contestants.
A new champion will be crowned Tuesday.
Football pro Jacoby Jones, Olympian Alexandra Raisman, singer Kellie Pickler and 16-year-old Disney Channel star Zendaya each did three dances on Monday's episode of the ABC competition.
Zendaya was perfect in the judges' eyes, earning the maximum score for each routine.
"You've only just scratched the surface of your talent," head judge Len Goodman said.
Pickler was a close second, collecting perfect 10s for her quickstep and freestyle dances, but finishing behind Zendaya in the cha-cha relay, which saw all four finalists perform to the same song.
Pickler's freestyle brought judge Carrie Ann Inaba to tears.
"You just bared your soul on the dance floor and it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen," Inaba said.

On the first night of the season finale of ‘DWTS,’ Kellie and Zendaya blew the competition out of the water! One of them must win the show on May 21.
The season finale of Dancing With the Stars began on May 20 and there were two clear winners of the night: Kellie Pickler and Zendaya. While Jacoby Jones and Aly Raisman gave valiant performances, they could not match the finesse and ferocity that Kellie and Zendaya brought to the table, and with Zendaya winning the Cha Cha challenge and Kellie moving Carrie Ann Inaba to tears, these two girls clearly have the edge!
Why Kellie Pickler Should Win ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Kellie, 26, has proved that she is more than just a country singer! The former American Idol can quickstep better than anyone else on the show, and she moved judge Carrie Ann to tears with her stunning freestyle contemporary dance on the finale.

As the four remaining stars headed into the last night of competition on “Dancing with the Stars” Monday (May 20), they knew it was their final chance to bring their A-games.
For the dancers and their pro partners, the evening was an exhausting one, as each couple had to dance three times - a judge's choice, a Cha Cha, and a freestyle.
After round one, both Kellie Pickler and Zendaya scooped up perfect scores for their quickstep and samba, respectively.
The second round was scored a bit differently, with the best couple earning five points and the worst collecting two. Once again, Zendaya shined and she and her partner walked away with top points, while Jacoby Jones and his pro Karina Smirnoff scored at the bottom.

Hmm. Can we switch up the partnerships in our imaginations, then activate special rainbow glitter explosions to make them official? Those are the rules of Reality, right? Great! Then I vote for Kellie and Val to win Dancing With the Stars. (Here’s my full recap of Monday’s finals.) Derek has enough trophies, and Zendaya’s already won life at an absurdly young age.
I’m kidding, of course. See how I rank the final four couples headed into tonight’s finale — and vote for who you think should win, below!
