In 2005, just a year out of high school in his native Italy, Alessandro
Schiassi joined a no-budget Internet film called Metal Gear Solid:
Philanthropy. Over the next three years of working on the project,
Alessandro taught himself digital compositing, match-moving, on-set
supervision, color grading, and motion graphics.
The film was lauded by critics and fans for its impressive effects and
quickly established Alessandro as one of Italy's premiere VFX artists
while still in his mid-twenties. In 2011, Alessandro moved to Los
Angeles to start his Hollywood career by taking on the challenge of
creating all of the visual effects for Stitch, a dark fantasy feature
starring Edward Furlong.
Meanwhile he worked for several YouTube A-list channels like FreddieW,
CorridorDigital, MysteryGuitarMan, DevinSuperTramp, and most recently
Stan Lee's World Of Heroes.
