I’m a Celebrity ‘s Mike Tindall is yet to invite Matt Hancock to a WhatsApp group filled with this year’s contestants, it’s been claimed.
Scarlette Douglas, who appeared with the pair on the latest series, revealed that a group chat was set up after Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle last month.
However, Conservative MP Hancock, who finished third despite his involvement causing controversy, is not currently a member of this group.
A Place in the Sun host Douglas, who attended the UK premiere of Apple TV’s Will Smith film Emancipation on Friday (2 December), said that former rugby professional and royal family member Mike Tindall, who finished in fourth place, is the admin.
“We’ve all got our little WhatsApp group and we’re all messaging all the time so hopefully that doesn’t die down,” she told Pa, revealing that Hancock was yet to be added.

Chris Moyles is the sixth star to be eliminated from this year’s season of I’m a Celebrity.
His exit from the series follows on from Babatunde Aleshe, who exited the jungle during Wednesday night’s episode (23 November).
Hosts Ant and Dec entered the campsite to tell the contestants which received the fewest number of votes from the public.
Moyles had completed an “impossible” trial earlier in the episode alongside Owen Warner.
This leaves only five contestants left in the running to be crowned the King or Queen of the jungle. You can find all all of the stars who have left so far here.
Speaking to Ant and Dec after his elimination, Moyles said: “I’m gutted that Matt Hancock is more popular than me.”

Owen Warner has said he is “fuming” over the latest challenge on I’m a Celebrity.
The actor grew frustrated during the “Save Sorting Office” trial, which he and Chris Moyles did during Thursday’s episode (24 November) of the ITV hit series.
The Bushtucker trial saw Warner strapped into a harness that was attached to a small crane operated by Moyles.
Warner was then tasked with searching through multiple boxes – filled with mud crabs, eels, rats, and snakes, and green ants – to find the stars. Meanwhile, Moyles was receiving small electric shocks regularly.
Once he collected the star, Warner then had to throw it into a small slit in a post office box.
Warner only managed to get one of six stars in the box, leading him to grow frustrated.
“Mate this is so much harder than it looks,” said the actor when he was doing the challenge. “I’m fuming,...

Kelsey Grammer has explained why the Frasier reboot won’t feature David Hyde Pierce as Niles.
In 2021, it was announced that Grammer would return to the role of Frasier Crane in a revival series of the Cheers spin-off for Paramount+.
Hyde Pierce, who played Frasier’s younger brother in the the popular Nineties sitcom, previously confirmed that the project was still going ahead in April, although did not say comment on whether he would be a part of it.
Now, Grammer has said in a new interview that Niles will not be in the series.
“David basically decided he wasn’t really interested in repeating the performance of Niles,” Grammer told People .
However, Grammer said that, “in a funny way”, Hyde Pierce’s absence has worked out for the best as it took the writers “to a new place”, which happened to be “what we originally wanted to do”.

The stand-up comedian was the fifth contestant to be voted out of camp during Wednesday (23 November) night’s show. Fellow comedian Seann Walsh was also in the bottom two, but narrowly avoided elimination.
Speaking to Ant and Dec – after spilling champagne on himself – Aléshé said that he “needed my freedom” after his time in the jungle.
“Spending two and a bit weeks in there is hardcore,” he said.
However, viewers at home were sad to see Aléshé go, with former Oasis frontman Gallagher commenting: “F*** off love baba Tunde [sic] can’t live in a world where T*** Hancock still pulling the wool.”
Aléshé replied to Gallagher’s tweet, commenting: “Man Like Liam Gallagher!!!!!!!!!”
Questioned why Aléshé had been the least popular contestant over the likes of Hancock and Chris Moyles.

Babatunde Aleshe has become the fifth contestant to be eliminated from the 2022 season of I’m a Celebrity.

Matt Hancock regaled his I’m a Celebrity campmates with a tale about his family nearly facing financial ruin as a child.
The MP for West Suffolk took part in a group conversation by the jungle creek during Tuesday’s (22 November) edition of the celebrity survival show.
After Boy George and Babatúndé Aléshé spoke about their relationships with their fathers and experiences in their childhood, the Culture Club singer jokingly asked Hancock whether the bailiffs had ever visited his home.
To his campmates’ surprise, Hancock offered that it had nearly happened when his stepfather’s business lost a significant cash infusion.
“When the business nearly went bust we nearly lost everything,” he said.
He explained that his stepfather had owned a software business that suffered when a client failed to make payments to the company.
“You know when you type your postcode into the internet and it brings up your address?...

Twenty years in, you know what you’re getting with I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. Soap actors will nibble on fried genitals. Spiders will crawl across singers’ foreheads. Black women will be voted out first. In 2019, Adele Roberts was the inaugural camper to be given her marching orders. Eighties pop queen Sinitta placed 11th in 2011. Even This Morning staple and universally adored national treasure Alison Hammond barely squeaked into 10th place in the 2010 series.
After two weeks of the ITV series’ 22nd season, the tradition holds steady: newsreader Charlene White and TV presenter Scarlette Douglas have been the first and second contestants to be eliminated from the competition. It’s not as if other candidates couldn’t have filled those unenviable boots. Matt Hancock’s inclusion in this year’s camp roster has dominated many viewer discussions, while the outspoken singer Boy George has proved a polarising presence.

I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has returned for a brand new series with a fresh bunch of contestants.
The ITV series is taking place in Wales, as opposed to Australia, for the second year running due to the pandemic
Proceedings kicked off last week with a bumper episode that saw broadcaster Richard Madeley and Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge led two teams in the first Bushtucker Trial. Madeley has since been forced to exit the series after he was taken to hospital as a “precaution” due to ill health.
While many viewers usually express sympathy for the contestants as they participate in these challenging trials, it’s worth remembering they’ve been paid good money to be on the show.
So, how much is each celebrity earning for their appearance in the reality series? The full amount haven’t been officially announced, but this year’s highest-paid star...

Charlene White has become the first person to leave the I’m a Celebrity jungle.
Fans of the ITV survival show had been voting for the famous face they most wanted to save since Thursday (17 November).
In Friday’s (18 November) edition of the programme, Ant and Dec announced that the newsreader had received the fewest number of votes and would be leaving the jungle immediately after 14 days.
Tearfully, she hugged the celebrities and made her way out of the camp.
Owen Warner, Sue Cleaver and Scarlette Douglas looked particularly disappointed to see her go.
Earlier in the episode, Boy George and White took part in a Bushtucker Trial called “Watery Grave”, in which they had to climb into underwater tombs to retrieve stars.
Since she had a documented fear of underground spaces and spiders, the Loose Woman admitted that she’d struggle with the task.

The first elimination of I’m a Celebrity 2022 will take place tonight (Friday 18 November) – but who could be at risk?
Culture Club singer Boy George, presenter Scarlette Douglas and Loose Women star Charlene White are all in trouble, with former footballer Jill Scott and ex-Rugby player Mike Tindall thought to be the safest.
A spokesperson for BritishGambler.co.uk said on Thursday 17 November: “Although Scarlette and Charlene have been the bookmakers’ early favourites to be the first campmates to be voted out, it now appears that it may be Boy George who will leave the jungle first…
“Many fans are getting quite worked up by Boy George’s behaviour, which has triggered talk about his past conviction, amongst other things. As it stands, 57 per cent of bets have been on Boy George to be the first to leave.”
Earlier this week, Boy George shut down questions from Douglas about his court case.

I’m a Celebrity 2022 is here – and the series has returned to Australia for the first time in three years.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are back on hosting duties for the annual reality series, which this year features a musician, a DJ and a disgraced politician as part of its line-up.
One such celebrity taking part in the series is Owen Warner – but who is he?
Warner is a British actor best known for playing the role of Romeo Nightingale in Hollyoaks.
The 32-year-old first joined the soap in 2018 and has found himself at the centre of several key storylines.
Warner, who hails from Leicester, is considered to be a friend of I’m a Celebrity having previously appeared on discussion show I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp, which airs on ITV2, multiple times.
Shortly after he was announced as a contestant, Warner became one of the early favourites to win.

Kim Woodburn has said that she’s “bored sick” of the contestants on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! complaining about Matt Hancock.
The How Clean Is Your House? presenter appeared on the ITV reality show in 2009, when she placed second behind Gino D’Acampo.
Writing for Metro.co.uk, Woodburn said that she was annoyed watching the campmates moaning about Hancock, then eating the food he won in the Bushtucker Trials.
“Not one of them that moans about him has got the courage of their own convictions,” Woodburn said. “Oh, they’ll eat his food while they pull him to pieces. You two-faced bunch of pigs!... Bloody stop this nonsense. Stop it altogether.”
Woodburn then complained about Hancock being voted by the public to take part in his first six Bushtucker Trials.
“We know the outcome and want to see other people do it and suffer,” she wrote.

Seann Walsh has opened up about the cheating scandal that torpedoed his comedy career during Thursday’s (10 November) episode of I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
In 2018, the comic was filmed kissing his Strictly Come Dancing coach Katya Jones while the pair were in pre-existing relationships.
Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver asked Walsh about the tabloid backlash to the scandal, asking the comedian: “Why did that crucify you? Why did that have such an impact?”
In response, Walsh said: “To be totally honest with you, my poor ex, my girlfriend at the time, posted a statement. My girlfriend [at the time] posted a statement and that was the end of me.”
Walsh was in a long-term relationship with actor Rebecca Humphries at the time and Jones was married to fellow Strictly pro Neil Jones. They split up in 2019 and, just last month, Humphries appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table...

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! viewers were left in hysterics after Matt Hancock appeared to “mine” the lyrics to “Sweet Caroline”.
The ITV reality series returned on Sunday (6 November), with Hancock joining the series alongside comedian Seann Walsh on Wednesday (9 November).
In Thursday’s episode (10 November), the campmates were treated to their luxury items after Hancock, Walsh, Jill Scott, and Scarlette Douglas were successful in their secret mission.
Scott – a former footballer and Lioness – received “three plays” of Neil Diamond’s 1969 track “Sweet Caroline” as her luxury item. The song is commonly sung at football matches.
The producers wasted no time in playing the track, which prompted a joyful sing-along among the campmates.
Many viewers, however, could not help but notice that Hancock appeared not to know the lyrics to the song and was only pretending to sing them.

Matt Hancock’s successful completion of his second I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! trial has left fans regretfully baffled.

The trial required Hancock to hold his breath underwater as he stuck his hand into a cage of lobsters in order to collect 11 stars.
Following his victorious achievement in gathering all of the stars, fans shared their disappointment on Twitter.
“The whole nation fuming at Matt Hancock smashing the trials,” one wrote.
A second commented: “To be frank, Matt Hancock did pretty well getting 11 stars in that Bushtucker trial.”

Matt Hancock has said there is “no excuse” for his actions during the pandemic but that he “fell in love”.
The former health secretary made his controversial debut on I’m a Celebrity on Wednesday (9 November). His arrival was met with tears from fellow campmate Boy George.
Hancock discussed his controversial past in politics with fellow campmate Babatunde Aleshe.
As former health secretary, Hancock was one of the faces plastered all over the newspapers during the pandemic.
He was criticised over elements of the government’s response to Covid, and in June 2021, found himself publicly disgraced after admitting to violating his own social distancing rules when his affair with aide Gina Coladangelo was exposed.
Asked “how have things been” by Aleshe, Hancock replied: “It was really tough.”
Aleshe said: “Because you messed up,” to which the politician said: “I messed up and I fessed up. I resigned and it’s no...

Matt Hancock has made his debut on I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and hosts Ant and Dec wasted no time getting a dig in there after the politician said he was an Ed Sheeran fan.
His arrival to the camp has been met with mixed emotions, with Boy George crying on camera, and Charlene White schooled the former health secretary over his decision to join the show.
The popular ITV reality series has returned for its 20th season, which is taking place in the jungle in Australia for the first time since 2019 after a two-year stint in Wales due to the pandemic. Read The Independent’s review of the debut episode – which aired on 6 November – here.
Early frontrunner Olivia Atwood was the first to exit, having been forced to drop out of the competition due to a medical matter less than 24 hours after she entered the jungle.

The celebrities watched in disbelief on Wednesday (9 November) as former cabinet minister Matt Hancock entered the jungle.
The MP for West Suffolk was immediately asked by his I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! campmates why he’d decided to come on the show.
The first to take Hancock off for a one-on-one was Loose Women star Charlene White.
“So why did you do it?” she asked the politician, bluntly.
“Because there’s... honest truth, is because there’s so few ways in which politicians can show that we’re human beings, so I just thought it would be good to do that,” Hancock responded. “I’ve got a sense of adventure.”
White said she could imagine the reaction to him entering the reality show would not be positive back in the UK, “because Parliament is still sitting, we’re not in recess, you know”.

I’m a Celebrity’s first Bushtucker Trial has resulted in some viewer concerns over Chris Moyles’s safety.
During Monday night’s (7 November) episode of the much-loved survival programme, four contestants took part in the first big task of the season, in order to win meals for the camp.
Moyles, Boy George, Scarlette Douglas and Olivia Attwood had been selected via a public vote to compete in a trial named “Hms Drown Under”.
While Moyles and Boy George were placed in tanks with goggles over their eyes, Attwood and Douglas were in charge of unscrewing taps that were hidden in small holes in a wall, dodging spiders, snakes, entrails and other unsavoury items.
As Attwood and Douglas unscrewed, Moyles and Boy George’s tanks began to fill with cold water that steadily rose as the challenge progressed.
As time went on, the Radio X DJ became increasingly nervous.

Matt Hancock will enter the jungle for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! on Tuesday (8 November), it has been confirmed.
The former health secretary, 44, is expected to join the original contestants in camp after spending a period of time in isolation.
It is understood his entrance will be teased by co-hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly during Tuesday night’s show.
Following his decision to join the reality series, Hancock had the Tory whip suspended and came under fire from across the political divide for opting to appear on the show while working as a sitting MP.
Hancock has been given access to his phone and laptop during his isolation, allowing him to continue working and stay in touch with constituents.
Along with comedian Seann Walsh, who has been widely reported as the second surprise entry, he will join the campsite shortly.

There’s been an awful lot of coverage about how awful Matt Hancock is, and how awful it is that this unworthy cur is going to make an awful lot of money out of his appearance on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Personally, I’m looking forward to our downgraded former health secretary sweating like a pensioner in a care home during the earlier stages of the Covid-19 pandemic. The difference is that Hancock will know deep down that, unlike the unvaccinated, unprotected Covid victims, he won’t die a needless death.
Sadly, he wasn’t on hand for the inaugural episode of this gruelling three-week ordeal – for viewers and contestants alike. When he does arrive, ITV bosses will probably be thrilled with the number of premium rate phone calls coming in to nominate him for some suitably harsh punishment, including from bereaved folks who feel...

In a year of chaos and confusion, another surprise – the 2022 I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! cast are actually famous. Not only can I both recognise and name Boy George, Mike Tindall, Chris Moyles and – in the name of Covid! – Matt Hancock, but I actually know a bit about their backstories, and probably too much in the case of Hancock. Obviously, the former health secretary and privy councillor seized this opportunity like it was a fanciable spad, and I’m not that surprised.
I met him once, many years ago. He was a bag-carrier for the then chancellor, George Osborne, and he struck me as being superficially friendly and likeable, but somehow ultimately untrustworthy. So it has indeed proved, for his country, his party and his family. Maybe, soon, for his new friends in Australia, too. Harsh, but, you know the law of the jungle.

I’m a Celebrity 2022 is a matter of weeks away, and the first contestants are seemingly being revealed.
This year’s series will be extra special for viewers considering it’s been 20 years since DJ Tony Blackburn was crowned King of the Jungle in the iTV reality show’s first ever run.
To mark the occasion, a selection of ex-contestants are currently filming an All Stars edition of the show in South Africa, which won’t be broadcast until 2023. (Find out who’s rumoured to be taking part here).
Before that, though, there’s the small matter of the main show – and fans are now wondering who will be appearing following the release of a first trailer on ITV on Friday (7 October).
Excitingly, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have confirmed the series will return to the Australian jungle – and a launch date has reportedly been set for Sunday 6 November.

Thanks...
