- Expelled from a catholic grade school for selling pornography and cigarettes, it was going to be a life of crime or the entertainment business for Elliott. Deciding to go legit he created Go Bananas Comedy Club in Cincinnati Ohio, Go Bananas is the only comedy club in the area still in operation today.
Apprenticing in magic since the age of ten under the direction of Illusionist Dale Scott, produced and starred in a live stage, touring illusion show with an array of dancers, flashy costumes and pyrotechnics. Elliott and his team headlined: nightclubs, amusement parks, cruise ships, and a stint with the Royal Hanneford Circus.
In Los Angeles Elliott became the protege of actor/director Jeff Corey and spent several years drawing from Jeff's lifetime experience working in the art of subtext. Elliott was one of a handpicked group of actors that stayed close to Jeff in the final years of his life absorbing everything possible from the great actor of the Hollywood Blacklist era.
